The “Rosie” hip-pouch from Archie’s Grobags might be the most utility-dense bikers’ bag we have yet seen. Archie is a London-based fixed-gear rider as well as a cycle-bag designer (and sewer, we believe). And this bag shows the fixsters’ obsession with hanging nothing from either the frame or the rider’s body - it lets you carry just about everything you’d need for a day out.

Once looped onto your belt, you can load up the inside with cellphone, cash, a spare tube, tire levers, a multi-tool and any other (small and thin) items. On the outside you get a pair of Velcro loops for a pump and another couple of webbing straps on which to hang your lock (although the U-lock in the picture looks like one of those awful, lightweight and easy-to-break aluminum kinds). There’s even a place to clip a rear light, keeping one more thing off the frame.

The bags are £45 (around $70) each. Archie’s site is down right now, but you can check out the full set of photos at Pedal Consumption.

Day 1 so far = win. been out all morning, no more wallet/phone in pockets. Instant happiness.
This is probably the only grobag i'll ever be able to afford so i'm gonna damn well enjoy it. Planning cunning ways to pack it with the essentials and gonna splash out for new goodies to live in it full time. Cheap metal lbs tyre levers fit perfectly in the side pockets and fit the crease in the flap perfectly. Zippy pocket bigger than you think: coins, keys and lighter.
Massive fail in that i don't currently own a mini d or tiny pump but thats just been remedied with a parker international order just now.
Sits nicely on the hip and stays clear of poking you cos it sorta sits away from your arse.

love the bag but noticed no scotchlite on it, maybe a small bead of it just to catch drivers attention n i reckon the bag would be perfect, as soon as ive got some cash ill be getting one ordered defo

Just back from a couple of hours cycling round NW london. Scott made me a belt to go with my Rosie as I generally wear tracky shorts with no belt loop.

Loaded her up with an inner, 2 gas cartridges, tyre levers, multitool, multispanner, miniDlock, some cash. Perfect size for everything i need for an afternoon of pottering around.

Belt helt fast never showed any sign of coming loose. I positioned the bag in the middle, so my butt cheeks would keep her in position, and after a while i barely noticed she was there, only when going over a reasonable sized lump/hole did she jump a bit (but then what small bag carrying a dlock wouldn't). Scott was unsure as to how stable it would be with the standalone belt, as usually the belt loops would help to hold the bag in place, but i never had any issue with her moving, even when i positioned her on the side.

All in all very pleased, as im sure all the other lucky owners will be. Once again thanks Scott.
