Wow got mine and packed it up, its amazing! Holds loads and is more solid than my other saddlebag that only holds 2 inner tubes!

Hmm I'm on the short side too and the bike's not finished yet to be sure of set up. Can I confirm on Monday? I should be able to fetch the pedals or borrow some by then in order to be able to get a better idea of saddle height.
If that's too late let me know. ta!

I don't have my saddle bag yet but I've seen the first generation version and I would have paid happily for that. Talking to Scott about the new ones convinced me it's an out and out steal at the original price. At £80 it's a great bargain and I wouldn't think twice. The quality of the design and workmanship in all his bags makes them nobrainers. Seriously if you're looking for reviews just show up at any compass drinks or LFGSS ride and talk to the many happy customers.

I'm guessing these saddlebags weren't as urgent as i thought then? where is everyone? :]

Would Easts be OK to pick mine up? I'm greatly looking forward to it. Might have the Royce rear hub that will allow me to build up the Webster by then too - 'citin.

+1 to the quality of Scott's products. I have a few bits and they are all worth every penny he asks, and more in this case it seems ;) Can't wait to get hold of me Saddlebag.

By the way...for anybody who didn't look at the pic of the first version of the saddlebag on my bike a couple of pages back...bear in mind that you need approx 4"-5" of exposed seatpost for this bag to work...it's needed to give space for the collar to wrap around and grip well.
So if you're of the pygmy variety it may not work on your bike.
Amend the list please if this affects your decision to buy.

Done a bit of faffing with some borrowed pedals. Unfortunately it looks like the most seat post ill have showing is 3.5"
Would that work?
It's not in a state to bring to easts sadly.
Maybe a messenger bag would be a wiser investment. Any more of those coming up?

Damn, blast, buggeration and general cuntitudinous sentiments.

Whilst changing trains on my way to Latitude, I stupidly left my mashton's pocket and my helmet on the first train. Despite an immediate ring to lost property, telling them which out of service and homeward bound train the items were on, there has been no sign of them.

So, I am in the market for a replacement mashton or, as the kids seem to like them, rosie.

Any chance or shall I go and plead in the classifieds?
