Quick Hijack. Any wheel builders in Leeds? If you can help I'll get my aged arse involved in the Alleycat. Do you lot meet up for drinks (normally London based but am conytracting up here till Feb).

I'm from Leeds, but will be in London, What kinda route are you guys planning?

•might be able to find a wheelbuilder - do you have all the stuff already and how much would you be willing to pay.

•route wise nothing is set in stone yet - all the checkpoints will be recognisable landmarks etc around the centre and student area.

Cheers Samuel. Wheels & hubs are in storage in York - I need to get spokes. Rims are unusual size - 26 x 1 3/8 so may need help in calculating spoke length. I'm going to try & measure the rims this weekend & use Ehren's spoke calc. If the person you know is up for giving a tutorial I'd be more than interested. Dunno how much - £20/wheel?

I'll see if he's got time - but that amount sounds fair. A few shops around leeds that will probably build for a fair price too - I'll ask around.

I was talking about asking Dolan for possible sponsorship for the event, and if anything needs bringing over I can do it, not about the wheel build.
