Yeah I give a little 'Morning/Afternoon' and a wave 90% of the time. Just nice isn't it?

Lovely run yesterday! I was pretty fatigued after a busy week cycling but wanted to squeeze a run in. Went out very slowly and kept it really gentle, slid around daft muddy bits, got hailed on, blown about and just enjoyed being outside for 7 long km in 49 minutes.
Really chuffed to run that long without ending crippled too! -

Running numbers. Can anyone please tell me the best method of hanging them off clothes that you don't want pins in? Or is a number belt the way to go?

number belt

The alternative I use is to fold it just around the number and pin to shorts leg.
If you care about the shorts too, then number belt as duncs says. (Or pin to any belt you have like a spibelt etc)

😁 Thanks for clearing that up. It doesn't bother me. Just wanted to check as quite new to running. And comming from cycling where the nod and wave while out is definitely a thing I just wondered if it carried to running also. I like to akknowledge other runners, walkers, dogs, cows and the occasional cat. If they don't respond all good.

You waved at it, didn't you.

I had been looking at those, it seems easier than a belt if they work.

The cat waved me down.. For food obvs and then tricked me in to fuss.

Hard 3k progression run off the bike with the superfeet in the endorphin pros. No issues to report just the surface felt a bit slippy compared to the stock insoles but i was wearing a thin silky race sock but the rigid heel base on the insole fitted nicely with no crimping or slippage so definitely compatible.

I like their hats, I've a couple on heavy rotation. Any idea what the rest of their gear is like?

Not got any yet but i was going to get a cap, tee shirt and may a bucket hat for summer. All reviews seem good re quality only grumble seems to be the price which at 40% isn't a problem

Yesterday - feeling it from some heavy sessions earlier in the week, brain fog all day, headed out at lunch in the lovely winter sun, hands got too cold and zero energy. Kept it really easy pace and walked some hills thinking I might just need to warm up a bit and I'd feel ok. Never really got going and felt crap the whole 6 miles. Had dinner and then went off to lead an interval session for my running club in the evening fully expecting to just completely fall apart or just have a miserable time... 12x90s on/off, felt good, strong, went hard, kept up with running club buddy who is faster than me, finished feeling like I'd had a proper workout (good tired muscles feeling) but brain fog gone and I was completely wired the whole evening and couldn't sleep when all I had wanted to do before going out was to go to bed.
What's that all about then?

What was for dinner?
In London I like to smile and say good morning / afternoon as it cheers me up! Most people reply... Probably come across as the crazy person, especially as half the time I have no idea if it is still morning or not... I'm happy with that!
