They don't have to be, but can be.

Nike do a pair of trousers called swift which are thin and almost like tights which I like. Arm warmers are a good option for getting up to temp. Hat and gloves are good options for keeping warm and de-robing if too hot

VLM ballot places starting to be announced. Nothing for mine yet.
(Only want it to defer it to 2021 as not likely to be back running on my ankle until November at the earliest.)

Anyone fancy a free entry to the Royal Parks Half this Sunday? Just pay the postage and maybe a beer!
-
• #21056
I'll be there^
Did what was supposed to be a fast 11.5k run to work this morn. Only managed a slow 8k before I bailed. Off the back of illness this weekend I didn't want to push it and legs were hurting like they normally never do. Hopefully should be able to kick this lurgy by Sunday

I would like to buy a white running vest / singlet, in size small, with taped seams. So basically this, nike aeroswift, which is out of stock.
Does anything like this exist? The closest I have got is
but that's hideous so I don't want it. It seems amazing to me how hard it is to find a running vest without a thick seam under the armpit, which rubs after 15 or so miles.

Have you checked Kings X or Hackney Nike stores?
Tracksmith do a white singlet.

Standard “We’re sorry” VLM package arrived yesterday.

Yup.
Nike ACG and Ciele
I prefer to run with a cap - find it especially good in the rain -
• #21066
I didn't try hackney - good shout.
Yeah, the trackmith one also has rounded seams. As do those decathlon ones.
as I said, seems amazing that the nike one is the only one available. Maybe I'm just too fussy

I have a Decathlon one that I occasionally use. Not pretty but it is good at wicking sweat away.
I wore it backwards in the summer, and could feel drops of sweat falling on my back and calves as I ran.
I would be interested to hear any other answers, I'm due an upgrade
Edit: It's that one ^ but black and white

Those aeroswift singlets are really good - I’ve got the white one and the red one. Satisfy do a nice one but not in white unfortunately

I have the On Running lightweight cap, I had an Inov8 before that, died in the washing machine and didn’t fit too well anyway. On is nice but pricey.

Which kalenji kit will do this:
Long sleeved top
Wicking
Just right for autumn to winter (so shower/ water resistant)
Lairy as fuckRan in today in long sleeve base plus short sleeve football top. Was about right but too hot by the end of my massive 6k commute.

Not Kalenji (so a bit more expensive but dhb is wiggle's own brand) but in colder weather I use these:-

I sweat thinking about exercise so there's little point worrying about shower/water resistance, I end up soaked through regardless of the weather.

Sounds like you just need to ditch the football top and run in the long sleeve base layer. You need to start off feeling chilly and only get a comfortable temperature 5 minutes into the run. If you start off comfortable you'll just end up too hot.

The base layer is not flattering.
My snack area is not tight. -

DHB looks right.
Meets lairy as fuck requirement. -

And to try and answer your question, I've no experience of these Kalenji tops but I'd try and get into a Decrackalon store to have a look at this one:-

Definitely worth a punt at £7.99
Are running shorts worn without underwear?!
