  • Belter of a last over in the women’s T20. Two wickets and restricted India to 2 runs & won by 1.

  • This is all far too easy

  • Heads up: remaining World Cup tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am, No idea what games but every team involved has something going, expect it to be absolute carnage

  • I love sitting in queues

  • They are only letting me buy one ticket

  • the prices are batshit!

  • I got bronze tickets for Eng/Pak, Eng/WI, SL/Aus and SA/BAN. Pretty happy, although their website is a fucking mess.

  • Gave up waiting (no patience). Wallet and Mrs c00ps are happier for it. Glad some of you made it!

  • To be fair I reckon you'd be alright trying later on, since the above I also bagged one for Eng/NZ

  • Bye bye, family, see you in the autumn

  • Beautiful, brings a tear to the eye. Hope mine turns up soon.

  • Any recommendations for pubs/elsewhere that show cricket?

In lieu of scoring Ashes tickets, me and some pals are taking a Friday off to watch and drink by other means.

  • Sam Curran. Only 20. Christ.

Also what an innings by YJB the other day.

  • As it's on during the day most pubs will just have it on; if they don't I've always asked and they've obliged.

Still not had my Surrey membership through yet, but seems like a lot of people are still waiting.

  • County Cricket is back! Like Christmas, but better

  • Bairstow seems in some lovely form in IPL. Just seen scorecard and he’s past 50 again. Nice.

  • First game of the season for me yesterday, scoring an almighty 7 batting at 8. We lost. Ah. League stuff starts in a few weeks anyway, yesterday was a reminder that my Saturdays will be spent toiling...

  • where are there some nets in se? i am playing village cricket in the 11th of aug and i haven't bowled a ball since god was a boy.

  • Brockwell Park, Kennington Park (really nice and fairly new), Archbishops Park

  • cool - cheers

i need to buy a bucket of balls

  • So, after the shitshow that has happened this week the icing on the cake would be a tonking in Ireland

On another note, this looks nice

  • I took my girlfriend to the Oval yesterday, she really enjoyed it. Probably because she didn't really understand what was going on in the middle.

It was pretty busy for a Thursday. The average age of spectators was probably 50+ though. I didn't do much to lower it, I'm 40 this year

  • Yesterday was fucking awful, summed up our 50 over campaign. Tuesday was rammed by weekday standards as it was Schools Day: 6000 odd children screaming at everything
