  • Defeatist attitude

Need to give them a little chance of victory so they'll attack

  • Ha! Cobblers.

  • waay Bell! awesome innings

  • All this shit about Broad not walking. FFS I bet Australia would far rather have an injured number 8 given not out than Trott to still be there (as he wasn't out).

  • Whatever England score, the Aus target will always be theoretically achievable as it's 60 or so less. The last thing you want to do is let them have 5 sessions in ideal batting conditions in which to do it.

The key factor is still allowing what should have been a lead to turn into a deficit by trying to hard for that last wicket instead of remembering to just play a tight game.

  • what the fuck are they reviewing there for?!

    haha

  • I'd feel a lot better with a 350 lead :-/

England just have to remember how they win games like this by bowling consistently, restricting the batsmen and letting the wickets happen instead of trying to force them.

Oh, and Australian commentators, lets not forget that Agar Agar should have gone when he was stumped. With England taking an 85 run lead. Broad not walking isn't really a big factor in this game. And stop moaning about the wicket you tossers.

  • Well England have just made 375 on that wicket, why shouldn't Aus be able to make a meagre 311?

It's still very open. Praying Broad is better and can bowl at his best, and that Finn doesn't leak too many runs.

  • Aussies off to a good start, massive spell for Swann.

  • Headgear feast unlikely at this rate.

  • Think I'll go over to the tour and forget this debacle.

  • Still one bad decision in credit

  • Has this been resolved yet?

  • fascinating game, we need two quick wickets tonight to get the momentum to swing back, Oz are ticking off the runs, and England want to be at the middle order tomorrow.

  • Finn's looking dangerous

  • about time too

  • Sheer coincidence that I am posting this after hippy turns up, but is it me or does Smith have that same slappability of face that Cadel Evans has?

    This chunky monkey?

    Yes.

    Proper cricketer..

  • If Eng don't make this pressure count they'll lose this session and most likely the match

  • still delicatly ballanced but going to Oz at the mo.

    ^^ quality

  • ooooooooooo

  • Out!

  • get in!!!!!! no reviews.

  • Smith and Clarke were put in a hole the last few overs of Swann and Finn. When Smith got 2 easy boundaries off Broad Clarke saw his first opportunity to attack in 30 mins and got caught behind off a wide ball.

Wastes a review, and fucks his side again.

  • still delicatly ballanced but going to Eng at the mo.

    Quality

  • Michael Clarke is nearly as bad at batting as he is at using reviews.
