  • HAHA!

we've GOT to win it from here.

  • I hope you do win. As my mate says (I am in Auckland) the Kiwis are shit but can beat anyone on there day.

So far I have had some beers and an watching some cricket (well, at 5 in the morning).

  • Haha. Get in! I hate the fucking safas!

  • classic result, given that all the cricket press were reporting SA were looking toward the semi-finals for a challenge etc etc.
I never thought I'd say this, but I actually feel sorry for the yaapie bastards.
Graeme Smith looked like he might cry!

    Don't be ridiculous.

  • yeah you're right don't know what came over me then.

  • so predictable so brilliant!
    what a tournament so far.

  • That was awesome. I don't think have ever seen such a choke.

This tournament is managing to make 50 over cricket exciting again.

  • bad toss to lose :(
good maiden from dilly. bell to open seems a good idea

  • Eng's openers gone

  • England don't stand a chance really. Half our decent player are missing and the rest are probably punch drunk by now.

  • ^Thought the same of the kiwis yesterday, (though srilanka are not known to choke)

  • fuck! mathews dropped morgan on an easy one, good fielder too. and we didn't review an lbw where he was out.

  • Don't take the powerplay yet.

  • fucking powerplay

  • Brief cameo from Swanny there, very brief...

  • ^ha!

good start to the reply. dilshan looks like getting out but tharanga's playing well and dilshan is getting away with it for now :)

  • Not going well, so far!

  • yea looks like England will be going home after this:(
Flat dead pitch and no wickets look likely to fall

  • Strauss' ugly start to the innings and Malinga for me are the differences. The Sri Lankan openers are living a charmed life, fair share of luck for them!

  • Although in terms of a spectacle, I'm not disappointed by the batting of Dilshan and Tharanga.

  • Strauss said scheduling wasn't an issue, but to me it's little suprise that both us and Australlia have looked less than top notch in the WC. Add to this 2/3 fairly key injuries, mainly Broad and K.P and you've got to think it was always against us. Fantastic cricket from Sri Lanka, and they more than deserve the win. Dilshan's total puts me back in with a chance of my accumulator coming off.

    Runs: Dilshan
    Wickets: Khan
    Winner: Sri Lanka.

would see a return of 164 pounds.

  • problem?

  • Respect to the man as a batsman though ponting had to go. 3 ashes defeats including one at home and crashing out this world cup

  • losing 3 ashes is a real biggie.
i wonder if they will announce him as 'the only captain to loose 3 ashes series, RrrrrrIcky! Ponting'
