Think we stuck at it really well today on a largely unresponsive pitch. But it offered a bit more turn and bounce the longer the day went on as the wicket of Axar Patel showed. So it might be a different story by the time we get to bat on it, though it does look pretty decent in the main.
Jaiswal was in a different league today. Astonishingly good innings. Also eating my words about Jimmy Anderson. Back to his miserly best in these conditions and chipped in with a wicket.

Same for a disproportionate number of test match innings, I reckon...
-
• #15654
Jimmy still brilliant
-
• #15655
Yep, totally justifying his selection already.
-
• #15656
Jaiswal also a different class. What a knock.
(Good morning btw)

I mean, still have to bat, but getting them out for under 400 is a brilliant bit of work

16 off a Bumrah over is not too shabby.
Fifty partnership up in no time at all.
I like this.

Duckett hasn't even started firing yet.

Was just thinking that he looked set for a ton at least. Piss.
-
• #15663
Full Crawley bingo today, given a life in the teens, looks absolutely world beating then holes out to a stupid shot.

• #15664
Will Root ever regain his form? It's getting tedious.
-
• #15665
Oooof that's a beauty.
-
• #15666
That'll be game over then

• #15667
As someone stated on Cricinfo, England never so dangerous as when only 190 behind.
25 to avoid the follow on, 35 to the 'magic' 190. -
• #15668
Time for the Stokes show.
-
• #15669
Well we avoided the follow-on
Another moral win

3rd innings on day 2 of a Test match in India!
-
• #15674
Chasing +/-400 in the 4th innings in India will be a challenge, especially if Root has difficulty holding his bat.
Same for Pope and England in the First test.
