  • Bairstow bringing some Test cricket to T20…

On the Beeb again. Lovely stuff.

  • loving the dissatisfaction on SA faces.

  • That SA review made some of Tim Paine’s look good.

  • England about 15-20 shy of where they should have been.

  • that dot/1 over from Jordan was very timely, and then 2 wickets.
    Back in the game...

  • Always in the game really.
    Exciting to almost the end.

I am wavering in my previously negative views of white ball crickets, especially as recent test have been so satisfying. Had stopped watching white ball until this Sumner and have been enjoying again. (it helps that my missus is into all the cricket)

  • commonwealth 20/20?
bbc3 womens match vNZ looks good

  • Eng women dragging themselves back into the CWealth Games semifinal

  • Roy seems to have forgotten how to bat. 3rd duck in a row.

  • It's impressive at this point.

Hundred has got me hooked this year. Didn't watch any last season

  • Bazball is BACK

  • I thought you meant a 10.30 start and Eng were 35-4 off 3 overs,
    (and 2 ball changes).

  • Collapse is on...

  • Any idea why I can't listen to TMS on BBC Sounds even with a VPN (I'm in Switzerland)?

  • Ah, figured out the YouTube link.
    All good.

  • *clatter *

  • Going tomorrow. Hoping not to see a repeat of the dullest day at Lords watching Graeme Smith bat slowly all day.

  • We're toast.

  • Ah back to the Atherton days of 52-2...
    except it’s for 4 down..

  • So much for Bazball.

  • No coming back from this. Game over on the first morning. Pitiful.

  • It's not great, but isn't that what you've said in every test so far this summer?

  • Yes. And you'd have to say it's been working pretty well so far.

  • This saffa bowling attack is pretty tasty, the openers were out poorly but all the others were good deliveries. I've got no issue with bazball but you can only see it working long term if we can get an opening pair to see off the new ball once in a while.

No idea what the answer is but Crawley has had enough chances, another to add to the long list of batters that look the part but just fall to bits at test level.

  • I don't know what we're worried about. BazBall doesn't kick in until the second innings anyway.
