Hameed too? Doubt he'll be straight in the team though.
-
• #10678
Well, he's scored a 50 just now against India in their warmup game...

I would 100% bring Hameed in for Sibley. They need to nail down the top three this summer.
I would rather have seen Malan get another chance with the bat that Bairstow but they needed an understudy WK.
I’d like to see Saqib Mahmood get a chance in a test this summer.

Great start to the hundred. Duff loosener down the leg side.

The graphics make me want to cry.
Also - I know in limited overs that if you’re chasing much more than 10 an over, you’re up against it. See runs v balls makes NO sense to me.

One thing they've achieved is moving this a long way from how a cricket game usually feels
-
• #10685
Yeah graphics are a bit shit. I hope it works in bringing new people to cricket. Feels like it's trying a bit to hard. But I'm sure it will get better as it goes along.

I'm surprised by this - they give the "23 runs needed from 18 balls" type stat all the time in limited overs and always thought it makes loads more sense then '8.2 an over' or whatever?

• #10687
Great piece of wicket keeping.

• #10688
This is fun

• #10689
Great shot

• #10690
Yeah I'm enjoying it. Last over
6 runs from 5! -
• #10691
Get that graphic off it like something from zx spectrum.
Enjoyed the game though -
• #10692
Good to see so many kids enjoying a night at cricket.

RPO makes more sense with more time to go. Runs in balls makes more sense when closer. I suppose it's similar to instantaneous quantities versus averaged ones.

Format obviously worked as:
a) I am now trying to buy tickets
b)I am stuck in a long queue trying to buy tickets on a flaky website -

More into The 300 which starts today, believe it or not the national team are world champions in this format

The 300
Thought that featured Gerard Butler,
(or 'Shut up buttwad' as he is fondly referred to on Kermode & Mayo). -
• #10697
The graphics are growing on me
-
• #10698
Nah the graphics are still bad. But not as bad a the team logos
-
• #10699
The more I watch it the less I like it. But I like test cricket so it's not for me right?

Not sure the cut away to clebs in the crowd works very well but it's not aimed at me. #oldgiffer
