i think the chess is a good idea, skill and cunning ftw instead of pot luck. it might put a few (non chess playing) people off though (raise less money). maybe pay £5 to enter the comp? you could charge £1 to watch as well

This is my old bike I sold 28 years ago, I raced on it, and did some of my best times, I have found it on Flickr after all these years, sold it when I got married, I still ride a fixed but and its not 531 or anything special, but it still means a lot to me. I say dont sell it you will only miss it, just think of all the good times you can have in Australia, I made this mistake dont copy me. -

What happened to this awesome frame? Saw one at the bike jumble and enquired about it, was told by a grumpy man that it wasn't for sale. Wonder how many others had asked about it haha.

The only fair way to decide is to organise a chess competition to sort out the qualifiers, who would then be eligible to enter a 24 hour apple bobbing fund raiser in order to raise the £300 necessary to buy a raffle ticket made out of drugs. Whoever wins the raffle should then be forced to split the bike and sell to corrupt dictatorships internationally who would then be expected to re-sell the parts to fund the conviscation of all poverty stricken families' bicycles.
i think you should just chop it in half

FIrst you must please be sending the monies to this account but only by Western Union wired money transfer otherwise the orphans will be forced to pay higher bicycle corporation tax and our country's plight will worsen..
Thankyou please.
