  • ^That is the most disturbing film I have ever seen

  • Is that the one when Monica Belluci gets bum raped?

  • I liked Wolf Creek very much. My favourite genres are films which are very disturbing
You have your gore fests like Cannibal Holocaust which are too ridiculous to be really disturbing.
I found the Exorcism of Emily Rose to be very good. I found the original recordings of the exoricsm after watching it and played them really loudly. My wife hit the fucking roof! She was well freaked, its scary stuff!

Exploitation movies are also enjoyable. Last House on the Left. House on the edge of the Park. Great stuff. Also Funny Games is well worth a watch

I also particularly liked Requim for a Dream, and not just cos Jennifer Conolly is as fit as they come. Films that focus on hopelessness and the horror of human nature are probably my favourite themes. I liked hostel for this reason. The Saw films( first 3 are pretty good ). I also enjoyed the Descent.

One of my favourite director is that Spanish guy. El Torro or something, The Orphanage is a great film, as is Pans Labyrinth

  • irreversible is really fucked up.

I watched with Danish subtitles. You could still get the gist of what wa going on but I ment that there was no point reading the subtitles so you are just faced with this visual spectical, wich is really fucked up. Best film I had seen for a long time though.

  • Switchblade romance (Haute tension) is one scary movie. Brilliant film.

  • Is that the one when Monica Belluci gets bum raped?

yep, it's horrendous. the ending to the film is euphoric though, beautiful. it goes backwards, the film that is. very clever.

man she looks dope in the film.

  • watch Sympathy for Mr Vengeance.

the all trilogy from Chan-wook Park about revange is amazing

    Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002)
    Old Boy (2003)
    Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (2005)

  • Buttgereit movies, such as Nekromantik, Schramm, etc ... quite disturbing.

  • Is that the one when Monica Belluci gets bum raped?

    Fuck me.

  • You have your gore fests like Cannibal Holocaust which are too ridiculous to be really disturbing.

Is it a snuff movie? The lass impaled on the spike looks far too real...

We were shouting at the screen at the girls' bare stupidity, when faced with a guy raping your friend's wounds you shoot the guy without stopping to exchange pleasantries. Twice. Then don't leave the gun next to his 'corpse'.

  • Based on the Backpacker Murders, supposedly: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backpacker_murders

Wolf Creek made me feel really ill and scared. There are few films that genuinely repulse me, this was one of them. But I still haven't seen Irreversible, so I'm guessing that might top Wolf Creek in the disgust stakes.

    Melbourne represent!

  • Seen bits of that....when they chop the fella's head off in the desert? Fella in a parachute lands in an aligator farm...
Also, the bit with the fella on the electric chair, blindfolded and the blood poors out....suppose to be fake
Worst bit is when all those people round that table beat the fuck out of that monkey with mallets to the music of 'The Entertainer' then proceed to eat its brains

Thats the one... I think the general consensus is that a number of the scenes are fake. Its still pretty wrong. The images of the cow slaughter Halal style is one of the worst things I've seen. Pretty much turned it off after that.

  • There will be Blood is very good too, as well as Gummo. I dig on film-noir. Was never really into films until a mate gave me a few of these grim ones.

Also good is Bad Boy Bubby, another Aussie one. A bit shit but the last 10 minutes is amazing and makes the whole film.

After the nice random post in the car thread, I've started downloading Condorman. I know thats a bit light for this thread but I seriously like that film!

  • i think gummo is about my last favorite movie of all time. it left me so unsettled, and i guess i never really got the point.

  • Wolf Creek was a laugh. Rob Zombie's last couple of films had the same kind of dynamic about them, with a slightly more skewed aesthetic.

  • Funny Games U.S
now thats a fucked up film.

  • can we get links to watch these movies free online i wanna watch some :D

  • alluc.org
try that, sometimes it works, and sometimes it plagues your computer.

... Site ok, but always be careful, especially if using windows.

  • torrent FTW, and only donwload AVI

  • +1 torrents are the best.

  • torrent FTW, and only donwload AVI

real variable bitrate or .mkv are awesome, you can get a blueray movie in like 300mb.

  • What's that Japanese(possibly Korean?) film when the govt. round up a load of shcoolkids and put them all in a survival game a la 'Total Recall', in a game of death, last man standing?

  • battle royale!
    such a good film.
