  • I thought the limit was government set ?

  • I can't believe orange is losing.

  • De Rosa frame looks wrong with the modern drivetrain / stem / bars etc...

  • what are the holdsworths that look like the orange one called (not the pro - the newer one).
i think someone on here has one.

  • Red looks the best in my view.

  • fuck. i'm a unit.
    cheers ved.

  • +half

Anything that's been painted is a dogs dinner, the naked carbon ones are pretty tasty though.
They're Italian*. Therefore they are meant to look garish. Those ^^ are pretty tame compared to some of their 1990s paint jobs.

*apart from the ones made in Taiwan

  • come on red

  • orange

  • I thought the limit was government set ?

You're right trevor, the standard limit is a grand, but employers can apply for a special licence that costs 750quid that allows employees to spend as much as they wish.

  • Maestro can get them in any colour scheme Colnago have used apparently. See countless threads on other forums arguing the merits of getting a Colnago from Windwave vs Maestro.

If I was spending over 1k on a steel frame though I'd probably go with a British frame builder and get a full custom made to measure jobbie

  • i reckon blue

  • red!

  • I'd probably go with British

    AHHH-TENN-SHUN!!

YouTube - Sir Winston Churchill Speech - We shall fight them on the be

  • Yeah Orange FTW

  • You really can't get much nicer than a colnago. Sorry kids, it's true. especially as steel bikes go.

....yeah, I know where your coming from, but I'm not an odd shape so off the peg is OK.....and I want my dream bike, and my dream Mercian would only cost about 1300 (vigorelli, fine silver with white decals, when my Langster breaks I wont hestitae to get one)....I want to spend much more than this to make the most of the tax-free-scheme.

Mrs Kipps says 'orange, the blue one is cheap and nasty, and where are the wheels'!!.

  • blue FTW

and ignore those who tell you to look elsewhere or not at all! they are tres nice. what groupset?

  • i don't see why mercian is a more attractive option?

  • I can't believe orange is losing.

    +1
With some nice yellow bar tape.

the orange and blue has a real merckx holdsworth assured feel about it. one expects a colnago to be in the red or blue livery though. pick the colour that best matches your favourite cycling shoes

Rabobank team colours, which does'ntreally fit timeline wise with style of the frame I admitt.

De Rosa frame looks wrong with the modern drivetrain / stem / bars etc...

    +Why white bar tape?
    Again yellow bar tape FTW.

  • Blue is looks nice, but everyone knows Red ones go fasta.

I take it you'll still use the fixed for the commute, and this for the longer rides?

  • But this ones got flowers on.
(I love this bike BTW, thats just the way it is)

I remember seeing this at Cycle Show. It was amazing. I was mesmerised for about half an hour.

Get this pls. And commute on it.
