Sportpursuit will buy anything and everything you have lying around so it might just be that they had a tonne of stock from past seasons that they weren't able to get rid of in sale and didn't want to have a permanent huge sale section on their website

^this. it doesn't mean they're not in trouble, but it could just have been overordering some stuff that didn't turn out to be that popular (a couple of times over the years, and now storage is an issue, etc)
