If anyone's up near Hathersage, Alpkit have got a big box of merino bottoms at £5 a pop! They come up very small so make sure to go up a size or even two.

https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/SPTHELITE/thomson-elite-seatpost £40 seems pretty good for brand new thomson posts, shame they're only available in 30.6 flavour

Plus £4 postage, plus you’ll never see it because Yodel will deliver it to your neighbour’s nan’s house but since she’s not home because she’s at the bingo, they’ll put it in the wheelie bin and leave a note in the corner shop.

Absolutely hate planetx deals, my first order from them was never delivered. I called them to get my money back and asked them to delete me from their database. Happy days now.

Yeah they seem to lack the staff/care to provide any decent customer service but ive personally never had any issues, obviously yodel suck. Occasionally they do some very good deals though.

Pretty sure they use Royal Mail now - for most things anyway
-
• #2461
Are they any better?

Royal mail for std postage, Yodel for larger/more valuable (ironic right?!) or free post items.

Can only speak from personal experience - never had any issue with them - dispatch a bit slow but for most items you can (for same price) choose RM tracked.
Prices/navigation a pain but prices can be keen if you're willing to trudge through the cumbersome site -

Omg and you should pray for the front end to hold up when you doing that 40km/h

Completely inappropriate bike need suspension and discs.
I would not feel safe on a converted bike doing motorcycle speeds. -
• #2466
40kph is a motorcycle speed? Hmmmm...
-
• #2467
You hit 40kph going down a big hill on any old bike. Don't disagree on the cantis though.

Pretty much a derny bike. Sometimes crosses my mind that I’m doing 80kmh on a very poorly welded bicycle, with drum brakes, in shorts and tee shirt.
Fun though....honest.

Vigs with a nice chunk off at Wiggle... Most would start with a frame I guess, but you get the whole bike for £50 more than Sigma are just selling the frame for! Oooh hang on, frames reduced too...
