Cool, I'm going to get casual membership on Friday. We'll arrange something for the New Year. You pretty good? You'd probably school me for a while but I'm keen.

Nah, I've not played for ~10 years.
I'll make up for my lack of talent by throwing hysterical childish tantrums when I miss the ball, then run straight into a wall whilst looking behind me.

Do we have to wear those sexy goggles?

Personal choice, like helmets and hi-vis. Brixton aren't even militant about non-marking shoes.

Ah, good point, I need new trainers.
Make this happen Tibbs

Might have to break out the tennis skirt! -

I'd be up for a game in the new year if anything's happening in north/central London.
You lot should consider giving racketball a go. The shorter rackets with a bigger head, and bigger, bouncier balls (fnarrr) mean rallies go on longer than squash.
I'll also do badminton if anyone's up for that.

I've got a sports membership with GLL and Westminister res card. Usually play at Seymour Place or W8 or W10 and I'd be up for a game in the new year.

I'd be up for this, i used to love playing squash, although I would say that i'd be probably completely terrible now, it's been so long since i last played!
I'm E8 if anyone knows of anywhere to play?

I've been shopping today. Stopped short of getting the goggles and mitts, would have been a bit too much gear, no idea for now.

I'm good for coming to Brixton and better for Seymour Place. Keep us posted.

If anyone does want kit I found the staff at Sweatband very helpful. Guy actually persuaded me to but a cheaper model because all that was different was colour. They are also comparitavely a lot cheaper than other places I've looked. Online stock is a lot better than what they have in-store though.

The plan: We were going to have a lovely game of squash, followed by lunch. Was going to tell her how I feel and bam! A Christmas reconciliation.
What actually happened: Twatted her in the face didn't I. Blood everywhere, gash on her forehead, game cancelled and I was winning at the time.

I'm fine, played on Thursday without incident. You want to rumble?
