As previous, I'm in, although I know not a soul on LFGSS!
One doesn't have any other plans that day other than a devilish 2 wheeled excursion with fellow gentry, donning only the finest of weekend Harris tweed...

I think I'm getting a bit carried away overstocking on tweed having got a jacket and trous and now bidding on a suit on the bay so may have some spare if needed.
Lunch beforehand sounds like a wheeze are we polling for location?

@Corny: I'm glad it worked out for you. I got my breeches there too. Where did you get the socks?
@Edumndo: We have a plethora of waistcoats and and beautiful gents silk scarves. Ace patterns too. Come in next sat/sun and I'll see if we can sort you out with a discount.
@Teddy: Will courier bags be allowed? I have to carry stuff....

Harry, surely something a la this would be more appropriate?

Almost as expensive as Rapha! Their saddle bags also rock and are within budget.

Holy poop on a stick thats a pricey bag! and very nice it is too.
Congrats to Teddy for sorting out sponsors and prizes, turning this from a mere well dressed jaunt to the social event of the season. A round of huzzahs will be in order on the day methinks.Whats the score with the prizes and such like, i assume there wont be time/space on saville for such frivolities so is there a contingent from Brooks meeting us at one of the respite stops?
I suspect Harry.Major could well be in the running for dapperest gent seeing as the man has a whole gentlemen's boutique to choose from!
Good luck to all, especially for the hotly contested facial hair prize. Will a delegation from the handlebar club be judging this one?
I may be in the running for 'bike most quickly assembled and untested ridden by a fixed gear novice' category. However, i doubt that such a contest exists. damn. -

Incidentally, would any of you chaps have some tweed a Gentleman could borrow for this Saturday? I'm off to the Volupte Lounge, which means the finishing touches to my Gentleman's costume will have to be purchased on Sunday.
To fit a man of five foot 7 inches, with a thirty inch waist. Ideally a jacket of some ilk, and possibly a waistcoat.

Good Gosh
What is this chap wearing for winter? How can he have manged so far through the cold season without an adequate supply of tweed. Or is he one of those warm weather pygmy chappies, he appears to be of alarmingly short stature or possibly some acquaintance of Laird Sano - a rogue by any other name.

No factotem old chap? I´d gladly lend you my Morrocan boy, but for the fact I had to amputate a foot last week in punishment for his mistaking Lady Grey tea for Earl Grey at our local emporium. Absolute shower.
He could hop behind you I suppose, a bit ungainly though.
Pleasure as always Mr.Blackfoot.. Tried on my outfit today and must say I'm surprised at how much I like it! I feel I just need some of those argyle socks (and possibly some brown brogues) to complete the look..
Can't wait to get going now!
