Oh good. I seriously don't mean to be a twat. I just think its a shame to actually make badges with artwork that's not finished.

Having been told of this in the C&H last night I like the sound of the ride.
Am I allowed to turn up on a plastic bike?
What's it's vintage Dammit?

This sounds most spiffing, tis the missus birthday and I think a little jolly on the bikes would be excellent, will have to see if she has already made plans or not before I commit to the list.

someone please attach a music system to their bike and play that whilst we ride..

Not at bleedin' four quid something a pint we won't. Weatherspoons for beers!
four fucking quid? a samuel smith pub are usually a respectful 1.90 (well, the one in Notting Hill at least).
-
• #236
Ed - all Sam Smith's pubs are cheap. Someone more cynical than I would suggest that it's the only way they can sell the beer.

That and you wake up with no feeling from the neck down, a mouth like ghandis ass and a pocket full of change.
You have to spend the next hour dragging your head around the flat trying to find a cold spot to rest it.
Then about a month later it all seems a good idea cause its cheap... -

That's why i suggested the Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese on fleet st, it's Samuel Smiths and also bygone haunt of such gents as Dr Johnston, who used to live round the corner, and Bosworth...
However, Wenlock Arms is cheap ish, they've always got a selection of about 10 real ales, stouts and ciders all at reasonable prices, but then not space for 50 inside, by any strech of the imagination...

uhm, yeah... this ride is infinitely more popular than i thought it would be. i was expecting maybe ten people. that's the big issue; finding a place to accomodate 60 people plus bike parking.
-
• #243
think 160 may be more realistic!

We got badges!
Sadly one thing we certainly don't have is time to alter artwork :(
Its not meant to be a proper reproduction of the Reynolds 531 logo, but a bit of a forum joke and I really hope they come out nice.

Ye Old Cheshire Cheese, althoug nice, is to small for 60+bikes.
How about.......the flask? Haha.

oops now I do feel like a twat.
I'm sure they'll be loverly, Ved.

What about the Wilton Arms in Knightsbridge? Its tiny, but its on a cul de sac, so there'd be less of a problem with bikes. Most of the people on that street go to their estates* at the weekend anyway.
