  • Is that XP2?

Kodak TMax 400. They didn't turn out as well as I had expected them to - Delta 400 is better I think.

  • Thanks to Ted and co for a great day out. It was my first LFGSS ride (the girl on the pink and purple Eddy Merckx) and I'll be back for the next one!

i don't think i spoke to you, but your bike was LOVELY.

  • What a wicked day out, glad took part at the last minute. Such a nice bunch of chaps and chapettes.
Defo up for another afternoon jolly what what (Lady on the pink & mint Carlton)

  • Very nice photos Ed, Josh and all. But did you get any of ME?! I'd really like one to print out if you do please. ;)

thank mate, which are you? I met so many people at once, I constantly forget who's who sometime.

  • Big thanks to everyone who organised this, it went amzingly well, even the weather was perfect!

My favourite quote of the day was from an old taxi driver who asked me what it was all about, and when I told him he replied "well I've seen everything now!". Class.

Also great to meet some forumungers for the first time, I don't know if it was the tweed effect, but what a fine bunch of chaps and fillies you are!

(I was the one with the tweed disc wheel)

    When's the next one?

  • i'm definitely up for some sunday tweed jaunts.

  • thank mate, which are you? I met so many people at once, I constantly forget who's who sometime.

Dougie. The bloke with the tartan tie, brownish jacket, black trousers, black socks and black bike with white tyres. We've met a few times at Trix.

  • Too kind, too kind. 'Twas me, Bob. I wasn't very chatty yesterday, a little bit nervous, but I hope I said hello!

Hello Bob, can you please post a pic of the bike in the names & faces thread?

  • Great shots, Ed. That last one is our poster boy.

  • quick and dirty panorama, only can upload with a max resolution of 1280x*** sadly, otherwise it's be 11411x2836.

  • Is there going to be another one? I think I might jump on th eurostar and come along

  • with the success of this run, there should be another one next year! who know probably be even better!

Teddy, thank you for the organising and planning of the ride, it's turn out to be even better than expected, definitely the best LFGSS ride ever, at one point it does feel like the Tour De France in the early 1900 waiting at Oxford Circus for the light to turn green!

  • aw, thanks everyone for an amazing day. i'll do a proper thank-you post later, but i just wanted to say that i'm properly impressed with all the outfits and really pleased that everyone had fun and really got into the spirit of it.

when i started this thread, i thought maybe i'd get 10 people to sign up for it. still can't believe we managed to pull this off!

    bloody well done, all!

  • quick and dirty
