  • Built this 92 Team SLX, really like it, can't justify keeping it, my loss, your gain etc etc:

  • Got this from the first owner, didn´t come across that colourway before.

  • Beautiful!

It's the colour scheme from the Gatorade team, who took over title sponsorship of the Chateau D'Ax team in 1991 (I think). I kept a photo of Bugno racing up a climb in the Pyrenees in the 1991 Tour on his, as I so wanted that bike.

  • Thanks! But wasn´t the gatorade team livery exactly the other way round - with the bright green at the top tube and the dark in the back?

  • I think they rode both, but I could be wrong.

  • Anybody able to advise on the rough resale value of this Moser frame please? 55cm seat tube, would go with headset, stem and recently replaced BB intact. Thanks.

  • Here's my faithful steed. I've still never been able to track down any examples of this Giro model either... has anyone else seen it before?

  • Hello there, I’m looking for advice.

I’m absolutely gutted to have missed out on a recent sale here of Moser Forma SL (see pic). Would any board members here have any idea where I might another?!

Would also be interested in other Moser frames if anyone has any for sale.

    Thanks in advance.

    Sam

  • Got the fork back from Pelizzoli after a long wait (sent before summer)

Asked them to replace the steerer with a new one so that I can cut it to length and repainted it to match the frame I acquired from a friend.

    Pleased with the results.

They have files from when they were working with Moser.

I'll be building this neo-retro with a Campagnolo Chorus 11 from circa 2010.

  • Looking forward to see it built.

  • Cheers. Happy with the results.

  • I think this groupset suits it nicely.

What headset should I use for it?

Also time to create a build thread.

  • Please make a build thread! I'm going to be building up this one and would love to see what your plan is; looks like it may end up being similar to mine. Just need to get my hands on a nice black Campagnolo groupset...

  • Later today and I'll shoot more pics of the frameset and groupset.

    Nice colour yours.

  • (frame & new carbon fork & original threaded fork for sale, located in germany so get it before brexit)

  • Hi! this is my first post.
What do you think about this beauty?

  • Beautiful frame/build! I will on a ax leader one day

  • Very clean. Nice build too!

  • If I would come back in time I would look for leader ax evolution. This one is really nice and C-Record is one of my favourite groupset and this paint scheme is really particular, but I like the chromed frame of evolution

  • Thank you! Unfortunately when I bought this bike was assembled with Shimano 600, when I mounted the campagnolo 1993 groupset I discover that I had to use 1996 headset because of the length of the fork was 2mm too short! 😱
