  • Bmx dude,I like your bike and I would like to appologise on behalf of the other forum idiots on here. Now if you would of posted a road converted frame or likewise lo-pro,you would of been all the rave on here, but anything other than that just incures negative feedback. There just seems to be an abundance of small minded road conversion riding people on here.Get your heads outta your asses and realise that there is more to cycling than cheap road conversion frames, but that might be difficult for some as the only reason for cycling,is to fit into to this so called fixie sub-culture.Heck most of you ca'nt even change a tire.Hipsters make me sick!!!!

bollocks.......£300 is alot of money for that bike when i could get this for the same money

  • I wouldn't know where to begin to change a tire....give me a tyre and I'll have a go though. However, when I get a puncture, it's usually the inner tube I swap so I might need some practice.

  • @onone

I'm guessing you haven't noticed that there are quite a lot of bmx'ers on this forum as well.
Apart from the obvious jokes/stick that frankly all threads get on here, there were some actual questions, all of which seem to have been taken in good stead and actually answered by the OP who has taken the attached criticism/sarcasm with the appropriate pinch of salt..something which I think you could do with.

  • no, its a 1988 pit-bull brake se racing pk-ripper
-the loop tails finished in 1984, the 85 had a straight rear stay
-the 86 - 7 were non straight stays
the 1988 as pictured, ran a pit bull brake on the bottom - or trad caliper if you wished

-anyway, you obviolosooely don't want to buy it do you? so why am i bothering doing the typey typey

    -i dunno, some people.........

it was a joke, another bloke here was selling a Giant Bowery that he 'customised' with flashy part and called it a ´PK Ripper', I think to pay homage, sorry about that.

    -IS SHIT....

is it not a 'girls' bike?

  • .

  • THE WHOLE BIKE

    -IS SHIT....

is it not a 'girls' bike?

I'm a bit confused here, you're trying to sell a BMX bike that you're constantly saying it shit? surely that doesn't even help your sales?

  • but it IS shit

  • Sorry but just because it has retro appeal doesn't mean that it's worth more.

Yes it was a nice bmx back in the day, but now it's not.

Personally I wouldn't pay £50 for that bike.

    THE WHOLE BIKE

    -IS SHIT....

point being, and spotty kid could order the bits online, and have eggsackery what you have there......

-you simply cannot compare a 22 year old item, with 'some' granted retro appeal, against some taiwanese shit.

After that lovely rant that sounds like it came from a 12 year old you have lost all credibility.

Do you know what frame that is?

  • this man is a marketing genius.

I think you fucktards already ruined his chance of any transactions pertaining to the ripper,as I have experianced first hand by you evil, vile, forum conversion riding geeks.Just out of interest, would you take £100.00 for the ripper,I know its a cheeky offer, but I see alot of potential in that bike.

  • I do beg your pardon, but alas I really don't do the childish bickering on interweb forums whatsoever - you have goaded me into it, I must say, it has been amusing, but only as I am bored as fook at the moment.....
anyway, is it a s and m holmes?
-show me some shots of you riding it, getting rad......

here is me -40 years old

-p.s. I dislike new school bikes as much as you detest older ones
-although I do have a new floval flyer, but thats just to ride to the shops on to get me tabs..

Totally get you on the small mined road bike conversion thing

  • BMX dude - nice to see you edited your post.

  • and that's why you're asking 300 quid for it.

  • you have kinda messed up any potential sale here by revaling its just your second class frame and fork with all your discarded otp parts on it. the only nice and as you put it 'retro' element about the PK ripper was the looptail and this is a later model making it a bit of a non-starter at 300pounds...

  • why would you do that to a 928L? you could import a pista concept if you need to have a celeste track bike with bells and whistles for less than that frameset... weird choice.
