pomade - ftw (for the wetlook).

Brylcreem is usually sufficent for most people, but yeah pomade is great if youve got bit of a kink/curls in your hair. Long time greaser here.

I've been cycling in wool all winter. Its brill. My '40s wool army shit stoppers are fan-fucking-tasticly warm. And with a nice bit of knit tucked its definitely a look FTW. Though I prefer a little dickie to a regular ol' tie to make it a bit more preppy. That shop looks awsome though. Do they do shoes? I need shoes. Just got DMs and plimies atm...

Mr Bonk sir I salute you - those caps look great & I want one. I'll PM you - do you do different sizes or is your current stock all one size (if so what?). Great work.
Ta very much.
Goodhead deserves good cap. I do two sizes at the minute. One fits about a 55cm noggin, the other about 60cm. I'm happy to do custom orders to size and colour. Colours are limited at the mo, but I have browns, blues, black, greys.. I also have the purple Dashing Tweed and the grey. The grey is called "The Cyclist" on their site. Just need to finish those ones off. £27 posted. All silk lined. -

They knew that jeans are not the best thing to ride in.. woolie clothes ARE.
You will also be needing either a beret or a fine-toothed comb 'ForTheWind'.
EDIT - I think the 'alpaca jacket' will make a comeback aswell.alpaca is totally back already, visit any yarn or knitting store or try to buy a alpaca sweater for less that 200 :)

hey bonk. those are beautiful... i want one! how do they fit on a head?
-
• #36
They fit nice and snug. You get a bit of stretch from the tweed. I started off using elastic, but I didn't like the look. Cheapens them a bit. So these are more of a fitted style. Like a flat cap I suppose. They fit just above your ears.

The Bonk - I'm very interested in purchasing one of your hats - they are really well designed, and with hair as short as mine, I'm suffering at the moment.
I'm interested in the third picture down - an almost denim like tweed. Could we hook something up in a 60cm?
Big thanks mate. -

Yes indeed. I think that one is a 60cm actually. I'll need to double check. But yes, if you want to buy one, that would be great.

Just checked and it's a tad small. If you were wanting a dark blue, I have got a bit of navy cord I could make you one with?
-
• #45
Well that'd be amazing, but if you are making one from scratch - would you be able to do one from the awesome purple tweed? If not, then the blue cord would be sweet man. This is really kind of you!

BOLLOX! I ordered a BFF/R*pha one recently. I want one of these.

Yep, I can do you a purple one. Nay bother. Better start writing a list. This is great. Got a good few people wanting them. Thanks.

I've always wanted some plusfours. I know this guy who **lives his life in the 30's **with everything from that era including massive white cotton baggy underwear... or so he says :s
Yeh, he's a Nazi.
