Also, new Gojira is mediocre for my taste, I don't think I could name two songs off the album that really caught my attention. Good message and all, but musically it didn't hit the mark for me.

Annoyingly I feel like they shot their load with the singles, all of which I foresee going into my regular rotation but the rest I can leave. The album from start to finish is a nice journey for the once in a while listen in the background but it’s not the same inescapable black hole of L’enfant Sauvage thats for sure

My thoughts exactly, the first two singles got me hyped, the rest let me down. Hopefully the next release will be stronger.

The bass parts alone on Born For One Thing...I’m not even a bass player but that was giving me palpitations.

This band is crazy good, I had the chance to see them with Thou in 2019 but I got quite sick and had to miss... Mates who've been to the gig told it was insanely good.

Very interesting and reminds me of the only time seeing Mastodon around the time of the Remission album.
They supported High on Fire at the Underworld and were sublime. -

It's technically the successor to Totem Skin, which is one of my favourite bands of all time (unfortunately disbanded 6 years ago).
