  • Stubb, XII Boar and Gurt tomorrow night at the Black Heart £5 on the door for charity

    https://www.facebook.com/events/411019468948018/

  • Kvelertak - Electric Ballroom - Mar 14th

    Get on it.

Saw Kvelertak open for refused a week and a half ago. They are indeed quality live - played one new song, new album should be good stuff. Definitely looking forward to seeing them next year

  • Was having some tattoo stuff done at Kids Love Ink at the weekend.

Is Charlie Shayzer still with KLI?

  • Nope. Marcus Broome, XTY, and Alex Edwards. Chris Waller (El Squire) is the shop apprentice and piercer.

He might be running the KLI East shop though.... Not sure what the deal with that is to be honest.

  • GAHHHH! Missed Sword tickets for the 10th. Anyone have any spares going please drop us a PM. Ta.

  • feb/march is looking pretty fucking good.
i need to cherry pick, as i can't go to them all.

  • Not sure if anyone else here is in to them, but the new Kowloon Walled City record is out:

Their other record, Gambling On The Richter Scale is a cracker too.

  • Slabdragger and Necrodethmort at the Island in Hackney tonight. See you cunts there.

Also Cult of Luna and Amenra at Garage on 22nd, if you're NOT there then GET THE FUCK OUT OF THIS THREAD =======>

  • Tonight? Ah fuck, was seeing Mika Vainio.

Will be at Cult of Luna though.

  • I've not ruled out going to see Amenra then over to see Clutch down the road

  • Clutch for me...

  • Everyone should go see Cult of Luna. I've seen them about 4 times now, and incredible each time. Their gig at the scala for Eternal Kingdom was the best gig I've ever been to I think. And the song they've 'released' from the new album sounds massive.

  • Anyone into the bronx? they're plaing the underworld in feb.

they've definitely gone off the boil since the first album, but they're a top live band so worth going to see.

  • Seen cult of luna a number of times, just interest me less and less with each passing album

  • have your heard their latest tho? Blows their previous work out of the water imo.

That production! Warm and fuzzy and lovely.

  • ^ Love the guitars on that...

I think the thing with Luna is that you need to listen to each album without trying to compare it to the previous one. Each of their albums have been really different to each other, but keep the core ideas.

I do agree that Eternal Kingdom was a bit weak though. The first three albums blow my mind every time I listen

I'm getting the impression people aren't interested, but if they are, tickets for this are selling pretty quick I think. One of the two nights has sold out already.

Just booked my ticket - face value was £16, total charge was £20 after all the bullshit booking fees etc. Cheers SeeTickets, thieving cnuts.

Im thinking about coming over from Amsterdam to see them. They played here at the end of last year but only as supports for The Hives and no headline shows, doesn't look like any headline shows coming up for them over here either any time soon.

Trying to squeeze Cancer Bats and Clutch into the same night. Two separate shows but at the same venue. Cancer Bats are supporting Enter Shikari who I think are terrible, and Clutch headlining in another room. Im pretty sure I can manage to pull it off.

  • yeah, that's dead easy, just pop down stairs and you win at gigs

  • who is supporting clutch?

  • Hark... Jimbobs band.. used to be Taint's lead singer

Just seen it's been moved to the Koko..

  • i'll check 'em out tonight.

pint first, or will you be post-rocking?
