what are the riser bars you kids use....are they MTB ones?

i've notice quite a few people recently switching to flat bars.

Flat is where it's at!

I'm switching back from flats to risers, they're where it's at.

What's the point of risers? Why not just have flats and raise the stem a couple of cm?

(by the way, I have risers on my currently not functioning polo bike!)
