If you're referring to the vaginal warts, I think that was DLT... Or it might've been John Peel... Long time ago...

120 or 135 OLD?
Probably won't be as 'epic' as the 700 vs 26" debate.

• #9632
135 for a stronger wheel.

• #9633
Does it make much difference? The extra 15mm is usually taken up by space for multiple sprockets. Does the distance between the flanges increase at all?

It's all about 110

a wee bike upgrade. Home-made handlebars
Been running these for about 3 months now, I got fed up of not being able to get my brake levers far enough inboard of my grips - handlebars always seem to flare too soon - so I'm using these, 22mm diameter alu pipe throughout, with a shim for the bar clamp so can run the lever as far in as I want.
I put a little sweep into them too: it took a six foot scaff pole and my bodyweight on the end of my pipe bender make the bends so I have no worry about their strength. If I ever make any more they'll be using a far thinner swg of tubing, I think I was a bit too over-cautious.
Hydraulic front brake? Looks good.

Hello everyone, i am currently running only a back brake on my Polo bike and i am looking to go dual control front and back on a signal level. Can anyone suggest a good system or equipment to go with?

Hi, this thread is primarily for showing polo bikes and talking about polo bikes, not a thread for questions about brakes.
There is already tons of info on dual brakes on this forum, probably mentioned earlier in this very thread aswell and the rest of the interwebs available for you with a quick search.

you forgot to mention that dual pull is so 2011.
actually in this dudes defence i'm not sure their is a specific thread and the polo bikes thread seems a legitimate place to ask especially as their are very few pictures of bikes -

Why so cranky?
Here's a previous post about brakes:
so whos used Paul Motolite v brakes and are they worth it?
Also this thread was merged with the polo bike upgrades thread which discussed everything from tyres to nokon kits, disc or v brakes etc.
Would anyone mind if I merge this "polo bikes" and "polo bike upgrades" threads? They pretty much discuss the same stuff in the end.

Asking peoples opinion about parts that you may want to use for polo is surely discussing polo bikes? There is loads of info on parts used in other situations but its nice to have polo players perspectives on whether those same parts that are rated so highly for trials or downhill are worth using for polo. Such discussion surely belongs in the polo bike thread

i thought they were made by Marino too, just different geometry and name?
thinking of trying my sorely unused 26" trick bike in a polo guise... apart from the lack of brake mounts and the fact it's #offtrend 26"...
seems to measure up very close to my bruiser but with higher BB...
thoughts..?
