  • 'proper' leg extension is overrated for 10 minute polo games IMO.

  • Depends what you're used to. I use mtb saddle height for polo (slightly lower than my road bikes). I've tried other bikes with it lower and couldn't get used to it and couldn't pick up speed properly.

  • i raised my saddle by an inch the weekend of the BM in cambridge. felt really good except i couldnt knuckle drag as well.

  • knuckle drag...

    Yep, it's good

  • A lot of people have too much time on their hands

  • Isn't that why we all play polo...

  • Bike polo = best idea ever

  • might be a repost but some just linked me this:
    http://olisparrow.co.uk/work_xflow.html

  • The X-Flow brake lever allows both individual and simultaneous control of the front and rear brakes of a mountain bike. This is achieved with dual-axis operation where pulling the lever operates one brake, pushing it down operates the other, and manipulating the lever on both axes gives front and rear stopping power. Specifically designed for retrofitting to existing hydraulic brake calipers,
    Now that's some serious engineering.

  • Jason from Portland has something similar set up, just mountain bike lever that normally you would pull for brake and then shift up and down for the gear, but made the downward gear motion work for the back brake instead. Pretty nifty

  • Next polo trend?

  • No, that's going to be using injury to justify retirement so you can concentrate on the more serious aspects of the game like drinking and heckling. [/Trend setter]

  • Busted.

I was on that trend last year…

  • If we get to the point of recumbents with roll cages I might consider a return next season.

  • now is nice and shiny

  • I still miss the cat wheel covers. The best I've ever seen :(

  • Nice paintjob luca. But what's with all the saddle-danglies? Spotted them on a few bikes and i dinnae get it.

  • Riders of bikes with danglies all have rancid rectums. It's the cycling equivalent of the pine fresh trees for cars.

  • Cosmic do it. Doesn't need any other reason.

  • Has anyone got contact details for alejandro? My need for a new polo frame has just become urgent, need to talk to him about getting a hija de la coneja.

  • Saddle danglers are for the kool kidz. That reminds me... I have some OG Tonite ones from the good old' days if anyone is in need of a sweet update.
Bike looks awesome Luca! 'bout time.
