Okay, so it's no fancy custom job but I think I did alright with the build. Was a bit of a wuss when cutting down the steerer so going to see how I get on with flat bars first before chopping again. Longer stem felt horrible at first but the reach is lovely. Main thing is it feels waaaaay more solid than my old rat bike!

not a bad idea leaving some steerer uncut, you might want to play around with it later on

These are the only 700c forks with both v brake and disc brake mounts I know of.

Anyone else know of anything with the same option... preferably a bit cheaper...??

@emyr, what the fuck are you talking about, titanium is used for it's flexible properties. That bike is one of the most comfortable ever ridden. I have a cross-country Triton being built as we speak, with a Ti rack for tours!
