  • For once you are spot on.

Nutmeg it is from now on.

  • can we do the whole football 'ole' thing if were calling them nutmegs?

  • But you don't nutmeg the keeper right?.
Surely the equivalent would be shuffling under a player's BB and collecting the ball the other side.

Totes down for an 'ole' on doing this.

  • But you don't nutmeg the keeper right?.

    yeah you do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIp6CGDgKT4

  • only reason i didnt post this before is that i thoguht it was a serious faux pas to post football in the polo section

  • Ti frame, £75 more than 14bikeco frame, if you have patience. #justsayin

but you have to get forks on top, no?

  • couple of years running wrong side drive on bmx and never had a problem with it

    realistic problems and theoretical problem

  • Normally forks go underneath.

  • speaking of forks, anyone in need of max power forks for 700c wheels? i'm going to bring a couple to london next weekend...

  • How much are they?

  • Id be interested in max power forks for 26" if they exist depending on price.....

  • played on my new bike today. it is alot bigger than my old bike but i really really liked it. the wheelbase is tiny (and i will be making it smaller) the turning is great and the front end is very very light. me and josh took some pictures of our bikes earlier so they will be up when ever he uploads them, tonight maybe.

  • forks are 120€=100gbp.
both 26" (365mm a-t-c) or 700c (400mm) are possible, i just need to know which

  • Sweden represent n.2!

  • Nobr Akes?

  • Nobr Akes?

    Kick-brake!

  • kick-brake!
    rad!

  • Kick brake is awful for polo, no? We had someone here who had one, and quit pronto. No ability to roll backwards. No way to get your pedals optimally placed to affect massive power output.

  • yeah ditto on the kick break I had one years ago and it sucked majorly for polo for the reasons Dan gives

Some people hate it, but I actually like it for some reason. Sure you can´t roll backwards, but you can´t do that with singlespeed either, and almost everyone rides ss. I just think that you learn to sprint with your pedals in the position that they are in actually, or at least I don´t think about it! My gear-ratio is ridiculous too, so im quite quick anyway!

  • Josh's bike:

loving the paintjob and the gold 'trim'

  • my bike:

played on this today and i really, really like it. the wheelbase is tiny and the front end is super light making turning and stability excellent.

rest of photos on josh's stream

  • What? No it isn't. That's like saying the two circles in a figure 8 comprises the same area. It clearly doesn't, a figure 8 has two distinct areas.

Yeah, but just using the ice hockey analogy, it's still the area between the legs (wheels).

I dunno, I'm just making it up as I go along here, in ice hockey you can't shoot straight through their torso.

  • Josh what's your HT angle? I thought it was 74 but it doesn't look it...

  • lucas bike looks bigger than joshs?
