Chainstay length looks similar to that of many mountainbikes. I don't notice it on mine apart from the front not being as light as I want it.
So long as you have the front set up nicely it should be nice to ride.

Is the Inbred a 29er? I think I might be missing something here :)

Nope. The Inbred is just a hardtail XC mtb

small pompetamines down to £130! pretty cheap, but pompinos break and on one are racist.

I am sorry for the mistake. I'm not usually posting in the forum. I didn't realise that someone had moved my post into this thread or that I should have put it here to begin with. I figured that I posted it in the wrong place so I deleted it and posted it again.

I had to look that up, as I have never seen or read any of that jk rowling drivel. And now I've wasted a few more brain cells on it. THanks.

There still doesn't seem to be a decent ish frame for 26ers with disc break mounts available. The only two I can think of are Pompetamines but they're made for 700s, and inbreds but they're quite slack.
Any other suggestions? -
• #6097
You can't run back v-brakes with 26" on a pompetamine though can you.?
-
• #6098
No, but disc brakes are better.
-
• #6099
you can run 26" with disc brakes no probs?
-
• #6100
Yes it's awesome. Minimum 3x though apparently (wish I'd have known this before I started lacing)
yeah that's what I was thinking. Don't see why not, second hand? Did they do those with disc brakes?
