  • That's the point. This frame is marginally lighter than the gangsta, comparable in strength and will end up around 150coins cheaper.

  • Not reading thread properly fail. My bad. What about this waterford proto, any news on that frame?

  • and then the really budget version.

  • Alot of the kids on that "trick track" forum use that frame, and it's meant to be really good value for money.

  • ^ quite like the look of those, cheap as fuck as well, although the geometry looks a bit tight for Polo maybe. Overlap central?

  • Just out of interest, is anyone considering switching from track/road frame to mtb? What are people's view on mountain bikes for polo? I've played on a few and have felt more secure, and i don't seem to foot down as often.

  • I've used my mountain bike a few times and find it to be too slack.
That said I know Dave Hills loves his.

  • quite a few of the westies are rocking MTB's and it seems to be working pretty well...

I will smash your face into a car windshield, and then take your mother out for a nice seafood dinner and NEVER call her again.

jesus christ, i was only bring the DBAD rule onto the forum. Chan's comment was lame. "is it the geo?", come on andy you're better than that.

  • I've played a few times on a borrowed mtb. I like it, it's what got me to give freewheel a proper go.
Dave Hill's fixed mtb is awesome! It's a polo machine.
The mountain bikes I've played on for polo seem to give you a better center of gravity, just lower the saddle loads. But this will work on any frame.

I'm pretty happy with what I have at the moment. Just got some new forks for it and the geometry looks a whole lot like that Joust but with 700c wheels and a bit tighter in the clearances.
