Yeah Mike. Yeah!

Although those bens guards look nice, I think they seem a little ott. How many chainrings have you really bent?
A few.
I've been looking for a bashguard recently that will fit my 110bcd x 41t with no luck. I'm not really down with dropping that much cash on a chainring/guard but may end up doing so eventually.

Hey mike - E Thirteen bashguards are made up to 42T.
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=5993My recent upgrades are:
switched down to 170mm cranks with 34T chainring, hammered flat the bumps in my rear rim, fitted a DIY tyre-liner for the rear, chopped the handlebars another 2 inches, filed off the top-tube cable guides, and new brake cable outers.Anyone got any cheap / free 26" tyres going? The rear I am using wears out FAST.

Nice one Prav, I guess I just saw the pics with 4holes and skipped it... How durable are the plastic ones though?
I have a 26" gatorskin, new, I could give you cheap/for a trade.

Mike, I recently bought one from Ben's online. It worked out @ $99 and just an extra $30 for the 165 Sugino xd cranks.
I think it's a good investment. Alot of people don't think twice about spending that amount on pointless hipster parts, at least this is functional.
If you do get 'em you'll need a 103mm length bb which can be a pain in the arse to find.

22t freewheel on ebay, only downside is it's £40 buy it now! It's still £40 cheaper than a white industries, and they don't come up that often.

14 are doing something very similar through goldtec, one piece chain-ring/bash guard design, seen the prototype and it looks really good, should be fairly reasonable as well price wise, but only fits bmx cranks if I remember rightly.

-
• #469

-
• #470
Hiking stick, need to put a bolt in the mallet head though as it's getting shorter day by day.
-
• #471
the archie wilkinson, sans pedals. fucken love it. :D oh soz ray, i took my own pic, is that cool ;)
would this frame be okay for road riding??
i want this. where i can do both polo and ride around -
• #472
Yep, but you might want to rethink the gearing.
-
• #473
Google "Bicycle speedway" for some info on the bikes, the frame has a short steerer and is built for maneuverability over straight speed, stiffness, etc.

• #474
cheers guys. will do

Is that the mallet i took the head off of during a game last night at Mitch? Nice bike.
