been trying different cleat/pedal combos today.

for freewheel, I think shimano multi-release is perfect. the release is way easier than time, easier than shimano single release, but still firm enough to stay clipped in in other situations.

just putting it out there for those spd people who are wrecking their knees. (could be me this evening)

Is it as easy to release from the pedals upwards as it is heel out with the multi release cleats?

kind of, not directly upwards, but at any angle and upwards it works. it's way better basically but no unwanted clipping, imo.
