Billys BMX.
Bit expensive but worth every penny.
Surprisingly light too.Had to use a metal back plate to clamp it to stays. Doesn't come with one but have another spare if you need one.

^^ V-plates are the business.

Hopefully I'll be able to machine something similar to these (but for the rear stays) to mount my v brake. I think used with a booster plate they will be pretty neat and effective.

I got a pair of Marathon Plus on Thursday for £20.60 each... From Evans!?!
I thought people bought these for all the extra grip to prevent them wearing out?!?

Gabes the cable outers you have are they the Nokon ones are they any good i over heard todd saying something about the anodising??
Not really researched cabling before these look the business...
[And the Shield-Lock liner slip over the Shield-Lock ferrules to seal the entire system from mud, grit and grime.] -

nokon cable is the business, todd's was a dodgy batch, which is being replaced. SJS shouldn't have sold it, that batch was recalled 2 years ago.

Pace do V-mounts like this, I prefer the idea to a plate, but wonder how easily they would get knocked out of place on court? I suppose plate mounts are probably more sturdy (plus the Pace mounts are bloody expensive)

I'm running an M2, it's great, really well made. Hassan sorted me out with one.
Top tip: avoid trying to re-create the 2-to-1 splitter inside the lever (Hassan showed me how to do this) and simply file down your barrel ends so that two cables fit on top of each other. The downside is that the first 2-3mm of pull on the lever isn't effective, the upside is that you can replace cables courtside without specialist tools (I'll be keeping some filed down cables with me at tourneys). There've been no issues with the filing down method and I managed to destroy my 2-to-1 cable device after some hard play at Newington.
Hassan still rocks his 2-to-1 device I think though, so maybe get a different perspective. Mikey's using the BMX cables that come with the lever as he has cable stops on his frame (the cables you get with the lever are really short), you'd have to clamp cable to cable with that method I believe, again not ideal.

Lemon, With those mounts just run a Booster over the top of the bosses and it will hold them in place.
Cam, http://billys.co.uk/english/group.php?prod=bsqb-cd12, pricey but so worth it.
Shin, love how you give Gabes credit for Nokon.

Sooo, I'm thinking of selling loads of garb come Spring and investing in a new polo frame. Anyone have any thoughts on the following (with regards to polo specifically):
Shop 14 ESB, pricey:
Gorilla Kilroy, bendy:
I really like the Gorilla, I was worried that the front end isn't particularly aggressive?

Supposedly the front end is re-enforced? Hmm.
I did beat kenny (v brake freewheel) in a stopping competition with no brakes. In the wet
