I wonder if in five years time, we'll be posting pics of FBO disc brake bikes with short wheelbases, and sniggering...

Last polo night we talked about 2009 with manu, and we were asking ourselves how many player were playing freewheel. In my mind Manu and Lucas were almost alone... Is that true?
It was also fun to remember that most of the people were saying they were better than anybody but no one said that it was also because they played freewheel with small ratio in a forest of fixed players. -

Most players in Vienna played freewheel back then, few changed to fixed later though.

My first:
Non-drive side pic fail.
I rode this from April 2008. Despite some remarkable MAX-welds, the top-tube crack killed it in early 2009. I moved on to Todd's genuinely lovely Raleigh but that was stolen by spiderman shortly after the 2009 Euros.

Oxford Toffs inc Sean were all rocking mtbs with gears etc back in the day. Did they make the move from grass polo? I remember all those fixie polo bikes versus their mtbs at the 09 Oxford Tourney.
