Well it was six hours each way... On polo gear, with all his stuff... Would be nice if someone gave him a lift back, but I'm assuming he rode back too.

We gave dodi a lift back, his bag was massive, don't know how he rode six hours with it in his back down free ways.

6hrs, he rode from the airport. I love how polo rumours get bigger and bigger eh josh. Like that guy who had only played for 3 months, 30 mins later it was "he's only been playing 2 weeks." It could have been 15 minutes later though ..

Bit of both. Most of the components are on their last legs and I need to change a few things.

I have new cranks, tyres, lever & stem.

gonna buy a new headset (any recommendations?) and bars.

I also need to sort out my wheels, I built them with aluminium nipples and they are all snapping when I try to true them!

I've found the Cane Creek S2 or S3 to be great

Although on the Charge I threw on my FSA Pig because of the oversized lower ball bearings

ive got a VP headset. Same bearings as the better quality cane creeks apparently but without the branding and way cheaper. and from a casual glance it looks like a chris king...

Although I've got a CK on my Oak I've heard stories of them failing on polo bikes... FSA Pigs are great and they cost pennies...

BTW I was serious about the Campag, loads of BMXers run them... Cheap and stylish, innit...

Yeah pitting but you've got to keep riding it till there's only 2 bearings left, 1 top and 1 bottom. Get your money's worth.

On my Raleigh it got so bad there were only about 8 discrete positions you could have the bars at....not the most fun to ride :)

Integrated FYMum, Headsets are fucking headsets, it's almost impossible to fuck them up.
