Looking forward to testing out how slippery that new court surface is in the rain! Not that it'll make much difference for me as a seem to spend most of the time on my arse lately.
I'll be there come mild rain or shine!

oui est le pistaboy? great games tonight despite (relatively) low turnout of just 6 - as much as i love polo, i fear that all it would take is a few retirements and we'd be on our arse again.
all you lurkers comeplaypolo!

Apologies boys.
This week was my week to cover late afternoon/evening appointments, and i was looking good for a 7pm finish (i can usually get back home for 7.30pm). I had a walk-in turn up at five-to-seven, keeping me in torment until a lot later than planned.
Every third week will be awkward. I basically run this drop in clinic (with the hope that families will book in - so i know when i can get home!), offering overweight families exercise advice, nutritional advice and general support.
Glad to hear it was a good evening tho' - 'twas cold no? -

no worries dan, we had 6 for some proper games, anyway.
it was a bit nippy but fine once up and going. came home with some serious aches and pains though! there may be something to be said for higher turnouts as it gives you a chance to rest.

Great games last night. Although I do have several aches this morning no skin was broken this week!
Not sure if attaching photos will appear, but thought it might inspire a few of you shadowy people checking the forum page out to turn up next week. DO IT!

nice penises on Dan's front wheel, they look really well drawn.

you can make them out from that photo? you must have really good eyesight, or be very experienced at making out tiny cocks.

photo clicks to zoom.
did you get my text? They rub off (not much pun intended) with some Clean Streak or similar gunk. -
• #785
yeah, i got it, was too busy rubbing off to reply. how's your first day on the job?

was fine... enjoyed it.
pissed that the Ribmos don't fit new bike, rear ok but front sticks on fork crown. So if you still want first dibs they're up for grabs again.

had a massive nail through my tyre this morning, so my tyre budget has been exhausted i'm afraid. maybe next month if you still have them, but don't hold them for me.

nice photos by the way dan - it would be cool to get a good vantage point to see the overview of a game...

Make friends with some of the local yoot and get up into the flats!

I'm in need of some of that yellow gas pipe.
If anyone sees any lying around, point me in the right direction and I'll pick it up. Preferably not connected to gas network... -

I'm taking the Dolan out this evening - Aldersley. I need to smash some cranks.
Won't make polo this evening. -

Getting to polo on wednesday has been problematic for me lately, let me know if you need you mallet back.

I was on my way home at about 6.30-7pm, coming from small heath to moseley via golden hillock rd & stoney lane.
Certainly have not been in highgate today.
And for your information, the NHS dont supply specs as rad as this. I had to fork out as much as my bike cost to get em.

that's incredible! you wouldn't believe how much this person looks like you (just a bit heavier - like you wearing more clothes...)
who is this mystery shamim-a-like?
no offence meant on the glasses. my nhs-style ones also cost a mint.

...hipster glasses... ; )

None taken, of course.
My sister was telling me about someone she saw yesterday who looked "just like me", she was in the prescene of this doppelganger for a couple hours too.
Apparently they were white and thinner though, which makes things even more curious.

Asian girl with glasses on a white ss with purple front rim crossing Small Heath bridge this morning at 9am. Wearing a cap (I think) and checked shirt. Could this be the mystery shamin-a-like (no offence meant on the gender!)?
-
• #799
actually, it could have been a girl (no offence shamim). i think he/she was wearing a checked shirt too.
the mystery thickens...

I've see her too! Was she wearing a "New Era" cap with platted pigtails.....
(definately a Shamim lookalike - he carries pigtails off sweeeeeet)
weatherpeople are talking of 'scattered showers' today - rest assured, unless it's actually pissing it down, i'll be there. if anyone wants to show up around 6, that's when i arrive.
