Birmingham Bike Polo (Wednesday nights / Sundays - info in the thread)

sundays just aren't working out - because we have such a small scene, if even 2-3 people are doing something there isn't enough for a game.

is it worth focusing on two week-day nights? maybe a monday and thursday? one early at highgate, one later at calthorpe? just a thought...

I managed to get through to 3 of the 5 concerned about an additional practice session where we play as the teams we'll be using at the nationals...

I hate posting false promises so I've got to say that I can't commit to any weekday sessions due to my work. I can roll up and play, but I understand that a head count is needed. I'm up for Sunday if it's pm, got a race Sunday morning. Will record the Paris-Roubaix.

That said, I'll do my very best to get to some practises in next week. Will watch this space.

we'll flip a coin to decide which team has priority on accommodation too, although last time i looked some london types had pulled out, so we may get bumped up the list and all have somewhere to stay.

How do all. Posted a couple of times in the B'ham chapter on here. I work in B'ham CC right across from the BT tower. Where is Highgate Court where you play your polo event. I would like to watch and give it a try to see what it is all about.

Well the court was great, but we only had five players and four mallets and eventually we got moved on cause Ben was wearing his gang colours.

what happened? that court is so perfect but we've been moved on 2 of 3 times so far!

Nah, he had a tshirt on that said 'slash' apparently not a good thing to be wearing in that part of highgate - we all thought it was his power rangers bag.
