good games last night. my goal tending skills are really improving lol. game in calthorpe was ace still not ready to compete with the big dogs but I think I might actually get there :).

Yeah - sorry about that. It happens sometimes when you get caught up in a really good evenly-balanced game. Steve really played well and I was looking for victory!

Wednesdays are getting more and more disjointed with the nights drawing in - there was only really time for two or three games last night.

What about the floodlights at Clathorpe, they not on yet?

Yeah, but only until 9. Now is the worst period light-wise as we get maximum 1hr at Highgate, then maximum 1 hour at Calthorpe. Mix it in with faffing and it's not much time when we have 10 people.

Saying that, most times I ride past Calthorpe on the way home from work it's pretty empty so in the next few weeks we should start starting there.

Will probably be late as I will be waving goodbye to Candyass. Sniff sniff.

Really feel like I want need to play more polo. Just getting into a fast game and the lights went off on Weds, so disappoint. Getting to and from Calthorpe on a Weds will be a mission from Yardley though, especially having to swap bikes after work. Not sure how I will manage it yet :(

We could try in random and slow games banning the top seeded player on each team from scoring?

If you're on the cusp of that slow game/fast game barrier, you're often going to get ditched in goal. On the flip side, I'm happy to play in goal/defence/non-scoring in 'slow/shuffled' games.

Weather and turnout both looking a bit questionable. I'm out unless we get a confirmed 6.

must make the mtb meeting, there is a grant involved which would be ace...permission granted just need the cash!! we can dig/build technical sections with that moolah..

on the flip side some of the people attending subjected an interest in polo, two birds one stone, might even kidnap a few to have a go at my local court in the early afternoon.
