Snow Polo anyone?
funny you should say that, i just tried in the back yard - Stitch (the dog) f*cked off with the ball most of the time, when she didnt I couldnt do anything other than hit it about due to over 4cm of snow here.
What's it like at highgate?

BHM B-team name idea - Red Ball. Logo needs some work, but it gives you the idea.

Wheel covers look cool - I prefer the white ones, especially as the Black Stabbath one would match our t-shirts.
Yeah, I think no polo tomorrow.

Cycled past the court on Cheddar Road this morning on my way to work, its covered in at least 3 inches of snow.
-
• #1688
hmm, it takes more than three inches to scare me away (gig)
what are the chances of a couple of day time plays over the 'festive period'
I know it's short notice, but if i'm gunna be arsed to clear the court again, it's going to be for more than 3 hours of play time!
So polo on 27th? + 28th? (both bank holidays) what about a final game or three of the year NYE morning?
It took four of us an hour and a half to clear the snow and then escort it off the premises last time, it was hard work, however this time the snow is dried (yes I said drier snow) so shouldnt be as slushy/heavy, and easier to move
anyone?
please?
I cant watch home alone/sound of music/ singing in the rain again

7075 Shafts, 5 Euro + postage, who's interested?
Courtest of Rik on the London forum (although I think he lives in Berlin, which explains the pricing). I've asked him for a rough idea of postage costs for 10-15 shafts. I don't know anything about the quality, other than that they're 1mm wall thickness and 7075 grade, so should be nice and light. 5 Euros is cheaper than chips though, and they should be nicely light and at that price it's worth a punt. He has a good reputation for making stuff (mallets, heads, brake levers etc).

Black is good. Especially that asymetric circle thing.
No idea of ETA - he's getting back to me about postage. Do you need them for a specific time?

slacker!
I'm going sledging tomorrow i'm all excited like a child at christmas..then I remember th elast time I went sledging I fell out the inflatable boat (probably a clue as to why the following happened) and as I rolled I put my hand on a stick(more of a twig actualy) which went through it... damn that hurt but seeing my friend spontaneously vomit at the sight was sooo worth it.sledge polo!!!... I think one team may get more goals than the other..
Snow Polo anyone?
