that awesome raleigh! Just looking for a longer BB. Using the rear wheel from the Day One, which fits a treat!!

Still waiting on getting my car fixed as #1 priority at the moment, I can't commit to helping with courts or attenting until then really :(

Is there anything happening this week? Iam off to Liverpoool on saturday morning and out with work Wednesday. Wouldn't mind some beers at some point, and Dan I gotta grab my balls....

there is a rough plan at the moment to have a pub meeting at the Flapper & Firkin on thursday( I think or was it Wed?) with Simon, Pete and myself, could be a social? dunno if a time has been decided yet?

I think i've bodged my cars diesel pump so I have transport again - ish.

also does anyone fancy trying to sort the courts Saturday (clear snow, grit), go to a local establishment for a drink or something and check our handy work, make some ammendments to our handy work if needed. then split like a fruity pudding before regrouping Sunday 10 till whenever for a longer polo quenching session?

Is the Flapper and Firkin okay as a venue for beer? (they let me take my bike inside & the dog & serve okay snacks & their raidators are awesome & the pool tables are in really good nick & it's a bit out of the way & I know how to get there from Newstreet Station lol)

What's the meeting about? Or is it a social thing? I'll make time to come if there's stuff to discuss. If it's a social thing, I may still come, if it's convenient. It seems like Lucas has some good ideas and information regarding an indoor venue, so if you can get him along, all the better.

Clearing the court on Saturday could be a great idea, but I'm working all day. I could spend an hour from 8.30-9.30am, if people are feeling especially masochistic, or pop-along for half an hour at any time during the day.

ola polo players. I have an azonic steelhead xl frame, its black and a bit chipped, it comes with a black cannondale alu fork. It can be run geared or ss, disc or removable canti studs. has a bb in it but probably needs replacing. has a seatpost but no clamp or seat.
I've been running it with cruiser bars as a big bmx. Would be perfect for polo. Looking for £50 collected, or we can meet up, I'm in moseley....

hey...still have this for sale polo peeps...now has a dmr fork instead, has a headset, bmx stem and cruiser bars included, can be run 26", 24", geared, singlespeed, fixed, free, disc braked, rim braked...was going to build it up as a jump bike but i'm 6ft1 and would rather have something bigger. Still £50! Still a perfect polo chassis! Although I've never played polo...

I now have a new gasket for my diesel pump so hopefully thats the car sorted.

I tried to make a list for the xmas meet.. people refuse to comply, I bash them with my mallet! comply!

Bored of life without polo - i think we need to evolve birmingham bike polo for the winter. Saw this and think we shoulld get involved.

I'll bring a wheelbarrow if people think it will be apt for the ferrying of grit and what time is best for you? ?I'm free after 3 so give me an hour or two to get over to brum and that's 5pm Saturdya for me

Pub, yesh...Wednesday was the arranged meet for wheels/pints @ polo..but thats a fail so thursday is cool by me...

I think pub after should be almost compulsory, we ened to make sure we have ample grit down.
