You presume a great deal Mr Pistanator.
I was actually thinking more along the lines of anything on the Naked Music or Om labels, but that's more deep/downtempo. Maybe some Defected or even some NRK for a bit of a Bristol flavour.
Naked Music was decent enough and fresh at the time but again, sounds so dated now - try playing a Miguel Migs track now, just wouldn't work.
Defected!? Worst label ever imo, don't own one Defected 12". What are they good for, signing up a decent track from a US label and giving them a load of pony remixes for the teds that go to Pacha and Ministry to chicken dance too??
NRK have had some decent releases, Nick Holder being a big player for them -

Now this ia thread I can get on board with. I love uplifting stuff. Used to play a heavy Break set, then when it got late/early liked to drop hands-in-the-air house so the kids go home with a smile on their faceI don't know you so I can't work out if these offerings are a pisstake or not? Please tell me they are?

'bout the same time I moved from metal to electronica..
around which Metallica Album was that ?
Let me guess..after Ride the Lightning ? -

I own And Justice For All. It started going downhill for me at the Black album. Garage Inc was a nice revival. I was listening to way heavier stuff at the time though.. moved from death metal to gabber and then into 'normal' techno/trance/everything
-
• #95
Agreed on downhill. Me was a Soft Metaller.
My revelationwas 'Quadrophonia' it has never left since.
Going through the usual Techno,Gabber,Tekkno,Progressive House,D&B,IDM,Minimal
phases and loops -

I've got this lovely compilation from naked music thats more of a soul thing than house but it still sounds very fucha
