First time Huggy came down to play, he turned up wearing a thick ribbed white roll neck jumper with a gold rope chain and pendant over the top. Jumbo cords and a white cap.

Yep...very good times! Cheers for that link. Few guys who I knew back there used to play a lot with Dave. Really good bloke as I remember. I'll check it out. So where you up there too? Many, many special nights at the bomb....

Dave's a top bloke, been to a few parties down here he's been involved in. He's totally down to earth. Had a good old reminiscence with him about The Bomb at a Boardroom party a while back.
I never had a crap night at The Bomb. When Tyrant were doing The Social on a Thursday for nothing, then going to The Bomb for whatever was on over the weekend, that era, fucking hell it was amazing. Do you remember Chris the door-picker, who also managed Jigsaw? Sadly he died a few years ago from a brain disease which only affects black people. He was also a top bloke, as was everyone involved with that place. All the times I went I never did the guestlist thing, I was always happy to queue and pay full whack. Never begrudged a second/penny. Was there the NYE party when James Baillie leapt into the crowd at midnight but smashed his head open on the ceiling, or something. Baillie's place down here, Cable, has Congreve as a resident but it's not up to much.

Yeah met him at a couple of do's and remember thinking he was a nice down to earth guy. Yeah i used to pretty much live there for a few years, whatever was on rotation on the friday (Floppy Disco always being amazing!) then for whoever was on saturday. Plus an occasional thursday in the mix too. Tyrant was always a cracking night too.
Bailie's a nutter....brilliant! Not been to Cable, doesn't sound great though.
You ever make it to Stealth? So were you living there or did you head up regularly?

Lived there for years. Never been to Stealth. I'm too emotionally connected to The Bomb to go to another club in Nottingham, even with Congreve being a resident. I'm into small clubs, and Stealth is big I think. Read that it's very average. Plus I'm not in the same place, head-wise, as I was then anyway.

I went once and i think that was the last time i clubbed in Notts, there was a lot of politics involved with the move as i remember. Definitely too big though...
Thats really sad about Chris, didn't know him but thats still awful as he must have been young still.
Anyway...we've hijacked the thread reminiscing....here's one for the Bomb!
