  • Dear god in heaven

  • Good call, hope you had a wager on it.

I nearly did put one on and all, I was predicting a 1-1. Good game though, Ipswich were much better in the second half, very positive play and direct without being a Fat Sam type side. Forest were clearly happy with a draw but could have snuck it as well.

  • come on city!

  • Come on arsenal. If they win then the title is ours to lose

  • Of course they're not entitled to succeed, they just will... I'm certain this is just a blip, they've been on a downward spiral for the last 3-4 seasons but still managed to win titles when everyone else has wet the bed...

They are currently seventh in the league, the fans that are protesting are morons... You would've settled for that last season...

Your lot are having a great run but squeaky-bum-time can still change all that...

They've gone out of their way to announce to the world they're not the sacking kind of club sneering at everyone else. First bit of turbulence and it's all biplanes and spell checkers.
It's been clear as crystal for years that they were weakening in the middle but always had top drawer forwards (I watched us beat them time and again in the middle but lack the fire power). This period simply shows how powerful Fergies death grip was in football. He did what he wanted and made sure officials followed suit. Now they're starkers with no towel in sight.
They are at least £400M in debt but it looks like they'll need to spend another £200M to get challenging...
Rooney's new contract will effect how much incoming star players will command in wages. Would they have been better off cashing in on him and rebuilding the lot?

  • Fucking fuck.

    That is all.

  • Perfect. If we win every remaining game we are champions.

Got to start with Tottenham tomorrow.

  • Now let's not fuck tomorrow up.

  • Perfect. If we win every remaining game we are champions.

  • Well, from a football fans perspective, today couldn't really have gone any better

  • Back home from an unbelievable day at the hawthorns. Great atmosphere. Club brought back the liquidator to its home and it fired the crowd and the players. First ten minutes were brilliant and then for no reason the players just took the foot off the gas. Albion deserve to go down because they don't have the know how any more of how to control the tempo of a game to their advantage. They also don't understand the pressing game that the manager is asking them to play. If only one midfielder closes and harasses a man on the ball but the others don't get ready to pounce on his receiving team mates then that first midfielder is going to get dragged out of position. It's not rocket science and professionals should be able to master it without difficulty. Good captains and managers see this on the pitch as it happens and make sure the team doesn't lower it's standards do during the game. Cardiff were a rubbish team yet we managed to concede three goals.
On the plus side it was a great day out. Spoke to some really nice people around me and was able to shrug it off. Seen it all before and ten times worse. Come on you Baggies!

  • been out all day and away from the results
watching match of the day live so to speak , most enjoyable so far

  • Steve Clarke is being strongly linked with us. The fact that it'd be a sensible appointment makes me doubt there's any element of truth in it.

Yep. Pretty much all the people I have spoken too do not want Chelsa to win the title in this exciting season. Would be such an anti-climax after a great year.

Can Liverpool make the most of Soggy Sheets Saturday to move clear at the top today?
    Fingers crossed

  • only 7 hours now mike

we could still get up to anfield

  • You'd need directions though I assume?

  • oop north right ?
it would be like the blind leading the blind
more than likely we'd end up in the gwladys street stand with the away fans

  • M1 or A1 init. A1 is right near me, if I get on it and head North, I should end up in the North right?

  • Yep, keep going up the A1 and you can't miss Liverpool.

  • Everton - Arsenal is going to be tasty next week.

  • haha! Own goal Liv 1-0

  • Lol @ Spurs...
