  • Arsenal will bottle it

  • Please no. I can't take another season of Dave Whelan's F.A. Cup stories.

He broke his leg in the FA cup final you know?

  • Say what? In the final?

  • TSO is ALWAYS right...

If we beat United then he will. If not, he won't need to. It's as simple as that

  • Oscar to France rumours - if he were to go (very big if) how would you lot feel?

  • Feel sorry for Strootman - will be missing the WC after a terrific past 12 months.

Jaw, I imagine that's a pretty major blow for you guys?

  • Van Rapey definitely off it seems. I can't believe he didn't get sent off yesterday

    Meanwhile in Greece...

  • Strootman is indeed a big loss for the WC and also for Roma's race for second place. He's been quite something for them this year. To play that well in such an unstable team and his first outside the Dutch league was a big surprise to most. It also means that playing time for Sneijder will be very limited at the WC. There's some options out there but most likely it'll end up being Nigel de Jong who's going to switch sides in midfield. It's going to be their weakest link I reckon. van Gaal is pretty much set on the fact that Daley Blind will be his LB even though he would have been the obvious choice to replace Strootman. The three friendlies are going to be quite important now. More so after what happened in France last week.

I'm guessing Utd are pressing the panic button now as well. Allegedly his transfer there was pretty much a done deal.

Wonder how the Spurs fans feel about the van Gaal/Sherwood saga. Levy is showing his true colours right now. What a twerp. I thought he was alright but I get the feeling he's lost the plot.

Van Gaal will not get on with Levy and there will be fireworks at some stage.

  • Jaw don't think levy cares about the fireworks as long as van gaal gets us into the promised land, which with this squad we should, emphasis on the should be able to be in the mix for.

Personally I'd go for the Frank? De boer over at Ajax, but not sure he wants to leave. You know with van gaal it's a one year rental, two at most, but with de boer as was I think the thinking with AVB, you have them in to build something, and get some foundations in place, and if a Real Madrid or psg or inter milan or other big club in other big league comes calling with big bucks for their signature, you'll get a big payout as well..

  • Have Spurs won the league yet?
    #lozzles

  • Almost makes up for the racism incident.

  • Does anyone think that FIFA will take action and ban Russia for participating in the WC over the Ukraine incident?

  • Will they fuck!

  • Not unless they plan on finding a new host for 2018.

Such a bed wetter - its Bayern Munich not stoke ffs

    Yep crying to mummy already
They are going to be used as floor wipes tonight and no amount of crying will change that

  • Not unless they plan on finding a new host for 2018.

The thing is that they could go to either Germany or France and there would be no issue hosting it there. Even England must be able to host a WC with 4 years of preparation. Germany and France will have the added benefit of having hosted big international tournaments in recent history with stadiums that are up to standard.

Of course I get it that FIFA won't do a Yugoslavia on the Russians for the obvious reasons. It would be nice if there was some sort of public/political pressure to do so.
