Today, also. Sherwood is morphing into AVB, leaving talent on the bench while stubbornly playing formations/lineups that don't produce anything.
this
Spurs have been shit today, as they have been for the last couple of weeks.
and very much this. Do not rate Sherwood at all. Wish that we had stuck with AVB.
Any team that relies on Adebayor is going to have a rude awakening as soon as he's scored his ten goals for the season. I actually groaned audibly when Soldado came on, my girlfriend asked me if Norwich had scored again. How can we look so pedestrian after spending so much money in the summer? Meh.

Spending money does not equate to being successful.

I'd have Soladado at Arsenal.

dan, quoted for posterity with added emphasis!
Didn't see the game, club run and sofa claimed me, good for hughton, hoping it gives him a bit of breathing room.
Whatever the midfield question is bentaleb isn't the answer.
Looks like in his own way sherwood is as stubborn as AVB. Don't see the point of resting players midweek if you don't start them on the weekend. This was a game we needed to win because as mentioned earlier march's fixtures aren't going to go easy on us..

Given all the retro nikes Jaw salivates over in the trainer thread, you'd think he'd get it.
New trainers are gash, Flyknits and Roshe's aside.
3rd is Liverpool's to lose I reckon. Still sticking with City for the title.

Not sure 3rd is ours to lose. I will go with
Chelsea
City
Arsenal
LiverpoolI really hope we don't blow it now. All the hard work so far, would be disastrous if we shit the bed at this stage.
I think Thrusy is too experienced to let the title slip away now and feel that Pelligrini will bottle it. There is already signs of cracking up there. And Arsenal will just do an Arsenal -

the independent seems to be keen to get in on the psychological mind games
quoting rodgers even though he didn't actually say it
keep your nose out indie and leave it to thrushy and wenger

Another London based Chelsea rag?
Nice invented headline there -
• #98014
isn't there some law against this kind of rubbish
although to be fair i don't think we'd ever go out for a 1-0 win -

I don't mind Wayno. I do mind Paul Stretford. (is that is agent? The one Stan Collymore has no time for)

We give the ball back if it's been kicked into touch when one of our players goes down injured...
Swansea taught you a lesson today, Mike...
ref hadn't stopped play as Chico was gaming it... Play to the refs whistle. we had a game to win and there was a lot of time wasting happening at the time.
That and it kept the ball away from our goal.
Prole, Agger at fault for any of those goals? Skrtel's brain just imploded

Just looking at the Betfair title odds.
They make Chelsea very slight favourites at 2.54 over City at 2.58. Arsenal and Liverpool are both 9.
The thing that amused me were the odds for winners without the Big 2. I forgot that United were considered one of the Big 2 at the start of the season. Now they are in danger of not being part of the big 6. How times change -

Oh mike. I do like it when you keep wanking on about the demise of United.

I also enjoy it. You need to enjoy these things while they last.
I bet no one could have foreseen in 1990 that Liverpool's demise would have lasted over 20 years so let's hope it is the first of many -

Are their any articles on defence vs offence for title winners?
The top four are in reverse order for goals scored but Liverpool dont feature in fewest conceded and would be interesting to see this back over the past few years.

According to the times there will soon be changes at QPHahaha.
'Arry out, Laudrup in.
Now that there is daylight between us and the chasing pack it is time to start focusing on the teams ahead of us instead of looking over our shoulders
