Bit harsh considering he's scored some important goals for us in those competitions. He was also top scorer at the EC 2012.
Like I say, he was past his best when he came to Chelsea and we paid well over the odds. It was a vanity purchase by Abramovich. You can't say he's not trying.

Torres goals aren't as abundant as chelsea would hope but he's their best striker (bar Lukaku) he creates a lot of space for the midfield to use and they don't need much

Ozil's early season form was impressive but has gone off since christmas. He is a distributor of the ball and is suffering a bit from the lack of options up front, he was much better with Podolski ahead of him against Liverpool than he had been in previous matches. Also with a transfer disrupted pre-season you'll often get a dip in form around this stage of the season.

Yes, perhaps he's missing that bit of bite, and I would like to see him acting more effectively.

Ozil has already proved to be better value than AC and Shev. 5 goals and 11 assists is 21 games. Even if he continues to shrink until he's the size of a toy soldier he's better value

Ozil, will be worth the money, and probably a lot more for Arsenal. This is his first season, adapting to a new league, new team mates. Give him a decent pre-season, some better options in front of him, and he'll show what he can do. Think he and Arsenal miss Ramsay more than they realise. He was always looking to break forward and make those runs into the box.
