Ronald Koeman being linked in the Dutch media with the Swansea job next season.
He did alright when at Feyenoord and expectations were at an all time low. Everywhere else he hasn't impressed me that much. Perhaps he has learned from his earlier mistakes. -

I think he could provide some useful quality. Not as the only option, and not for the long term, but we have other options there.

Hamburg thrashed again in the Bundesliga, that's six defeats in a row. They're second bottom. It'd be lovely to see van Marwijk take them down, but knowing Hamburg he probably won't get the chance.

And most importantly in German football new, Union Berlin drew against Dynamo Dresden to stay 5th, but level on points with three other teams. The other three East German teams in the league, Dresden, Energie Cottbuss and Erzgebirge Aue are the bottom three clubs in the league, meaning Union could feasible be the only Ossies left in the top two tiers next season.

Even worse than that, I've just seen that RB Leipzig are as well.

Agent Moyes could be just two points behind Everton by 6pm. They'll be some soggy sheets out to dry in the blue half of Liverpool tomorrow.

In all seriousness, I wish Sherwood would drop Bentaleb. If Holtby isn't good enough for his starting 11, Bentaleb definitely isn't.

it'll be nice to have pisti back so that he can give this thread another metaphor for everyone to copy. Wetting the bed seems rather over used. In fact is there anything more plastic than copying another mans vernacular?

He was there and I suspect still spitting bullets

HA!!!!
I was about to post: Why don't Fulham just fuck off and get it over and done with. They carry no threat.

Holtby just delivered the pass of the week for Sidwell to score against Man U. Sherwood, you watching?

There's plenty more twists and turns to come yet Joe, but Chelsea are looking good.
I doubt it. Maureen has the hex over manny.
Anyone else suspect Maureen doesn't rate ozil 100%? I imagine he chuckled at Arse spunking £40M.

Pisti was too busy texting me after the game.
Sherwood needs to rethink the whole bentaleb instead of Capoue thing, he did nothing all game.
We're neither a possession based team or a true counter attacking team, so not sure how we're scoring goals, don't out teams under enough pressure, and don't break fast enough to try and score on the counter, its a conundrum.Everton had the better of the stats, and the better chances, but didn't put them away.
The penalty would have been a soft one to give away, he was stretching and almost on his knees before he got to the ball. After we scored all Sherwood's changes were to defend what we have, but keeping lennon on, and bringing on townsend meant we had pace to burn, but never actually got the chance to use it as they were pulled so deep to defend leaving Ade up front with a good ten/fifteen meters between him and the rest of the team.
Eriksen and Adebayor were the best players for us, Dembele was useful in patches and we need to get Paulinho making some forward breaks, otherwise no one is getting past Adebayor.
All in all, a good result, and not just because it had Pisti frothing, and left him with a face like a smacked arse..
thought this might be a nice similie / metaphor for arsenal
bed will be wet come spring
