Yeah, I'm joking...sort of.
Jese has been awesome this season and it just means that there is even more competition for one of the wing positions.
Ronaldo, Isco, Di Maria, Bale and Jese.
Bale's stats are great this season, 14 apps, 8 goals & 7 assists.

You might want to give this thread a wide berth for say, 8-9 seasons....

Utd the new Liverpool?
Let's hope so
Moyes is to United what Souness was to Liverpool -

andyp, got to restock from a position of strength, rather than waiting till all the favorites get too old.
Only good thing with Man Utd having so many players leaving or considering leaving it means that Moyes can accelerate the change exponentially, root and branch reformation, go look for some good young 'uns, fill some spaces with more high profile faces and see if any of this current crop of Utd youngsters can step up.
Who else could need replacing
Ferdinand, Evra, Nani, Giggs, Hernandez, Kagawa, AndersonThat could be some major reshaping going on there..

Will Moyes get the chance to reshape?
My point was more to do with succession planning. Don't leave the selection of your replacement to the current manager.

Doesn't matter who Moyes gets in, he's an average manager, period.
Utd should have showed more ambition but they settled for googly eyed ginger who punched above his weight at little old Everton.

So much this, I still believe Ferguson wanted Moyes to underline how good a manager he was. Fegire's ego knows no limits.

That all depends if we can attract anyone of note after a season of Moyes Magic because the CL ain't happening this year.

Seriously, you're serial champions and you settle for a bloke that hasn't beaten any of the top 4 teams in the league. They really underestimated the effect ferguson had on the squad and overestimated the quality of said squad. Long my it continue.

Doh!

Where 's that opta article which talks about a managers footprint? Used Mark Hughes as the example. Don't clubs read that analysis before making decisions that cost millions of pounds?

I have heard a few United fans say that on phone ins. I can't believe he would stitch them up like that though? Surely that is beyond ridiculous

buckaroo,
money and reputation still count for something, if the bosses at Utd sanction opening the purse strings, finding players to take their money shouldn't be that difficult, finding players that'll make you better that other clubs aren't targeting who could offer them MORE money could be the problem..
He's been injured tho'...
